I got some new hardware, a server machine and a tablet for testing mobile wallets. I am currently restructuring and upgrading the network, the block explorer should be back up soon.

Alright, smartchain.cc is now up and running, with the previously mentioned to-do items done.

I also got sidetracked wanting to first set up an @smartcoin.cc mail server "real quick", but that turned out to be more complex than expected.

I have gotten a different result. 1/56 and 1/57, and Win32/BitCoinMiner is just the mining feature.

I think the current logo with the lightbulb is good, but it could probably be improved. It would also be nice to have a high quality 3d model of the coin, and to have images like this one.

I started on one, but I should probably be looking at the code instead.

Well, I think that anybody who is into Bitcoin or any kind of crypto could probably find themselves interested in hanging out at the forum. Hence the section titled "Crypto Services" rather than "SmartCoin Services". There is also a money related but not necessarily crypto related "Finance and Economics". Perhaps there could be other sections if there is demand for them.

The main focus, though, is development and growth of the SmartCoin digital currency.

The netcoin pic is a good example of what you might try to achieve, but it doesn't have to be that good.

Security updates:

SmartCoin websites are now protected by CloudFlare.




Included is faster distribution of content, as static hosting data is cached on the CloudFlare network servers, reducing delivery distance to visitors and decreasing SmartCoin server bandwidth consumption.




Additionally, smartforum.cc now uses an SSL connection for personal data security. All http:// web requests are automatically redirected to https://.
