Arteleis helped rebuild the team, and i created the logo and graphics on the new wallet.

this is just what i hate, 1 problem and dev leaves the ship.
lucky there is still some people fixing mistakes made by others so called "devs".
99% of all new coins are pure shit.

Before investing I did the math: so far I am more than happy with what we've got here and I hope this coin will start ASAP to bring its full potential out there in the crypto world.

Silk is only on Poloniex therefore no arbitrage is possible. Who wants SILK now needs to buy from Polo. Silk is now the fifth market in terms of %UP
A lot of liquidity from others coin is going into the silk project.

Yep.  Best is yet to come once everything is actually up.  My thoughts are short term, there is A LOT of BTC sitting in Polo and being that there is a lot of red right now, we could see a spill over and a huge spike in price, even past the 200% we already went...

But I'm here for the long term since I found this back in early 2015.  Not going anywhere even with a nice size run up.  Can't wait for the market place.

1. Silk will be a part of Silk Network and share services and goals.

2. The codebase will actually work and also contain new features that even Bitcoin hasn't utilised as of yet.

3. The Silk total coin supply of 2,000,000,000 coins will be more than enough for it to be used as a currency due to its distribution levels.

There a many many more reasons, which I have said previously, but I am sure the community and other developers will be able to also add something.

To add my opinion on grit: it is best stimulated by just acts or perceived justice. The future succes of the Silk Network is like vengeance on Silkcoins shady past.

Here is an updated graph to show the total money supply of Silk as well as the inflation rate:

Each black bar represents one decade of Silk money supply creation. The white curve shows the change in the inflation rate over time. 44,000,000 SLK will be the initial money supply. Each year, because of the static PoS block reward of 2 SLK, only 986,175 SLK will be minted. The total money supply of Silk is hardcoded to 2 billion SLK and the network should reach that supply in  about 1984 years.

After the first year, the inflation rate will be 2.145%. By year 10, the inflation rate will have dropped to 1.831%. As you can tell from the graph, the function that produces the inflation rate curve is negatively hyperbolic, and it converges, over time, to ~0.0493% inflation per year.

Hopefully, this clears up any confusion about the supply of Silk. Please do not hesitate to ask any and all questions you may have here, in a PM, or on the Silk Network Slack Group.

A more detailed analysis; including extensive data, forecasting, graphs, (and more!), of the Silk Network will be included in a forthcoming paper that I am currently writing to be released before the end of 2015.

This will happen 1 month prior to the DarkSilk DRKSLK ICO.
When will DarkSilk be released? When its done!

There will be two sets of coins SLK and DRKSLK, the benefit of heaving two independent coins instead of just one has yet to be disclosed.
There are no set dates to ensure development is not hastened by community pressure.
