@pwstegman, if you come up with a gui wallet, you are close to becoming the King :-) Cheers to that!

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Hi dsh.extremepool.org have payment problem i think, i minded 880789.00000000 and i received 319616.00000000 only been 2 days now Known issue with the open source pool software, magnified by the recent events. Reported to developers but no fix still. I will work on that after I see what causes the wallet problems lol...i did the same check last night and I found the same issue and emailed extreme pool thinking it was just an accounting problem. looks like it's not. is this caused by payments sent by the pool that maybe rejected by the network and the pool wallets not reconciling these returned funds to a user's account? if so, the pool wallet balance would exceed their total mined balance less what they think they had successfully sent and they should be able to manually payout the difference. switched from extremepool to minergate and i'm finding more consistent and regular payouts from them. anyone else still mining on extremepool and getting accurate and consistent payouts?

i'm trying to use the -p <payment id> and -f <fee> options but these don't appear to be supported in the simplewallet client. can someone paste the exact transfer statement. i tried "transfer 0 <address> <amount> -p <payment id> -f <fee>" but it didn't like it. Only this works for me "transfer 0 <address> <amount> <payment id>"
