As I said before, I do not want the focus to be Darknet Markets. However, nothing can stop them from using it and it will show trust in the system. It is a open source decentralized system so if you want the Markets to use it, you can make it happen.
I think the focus should be on people in unsafe countries, journalist, whistle blowers, donating to things like Wikileaks etc. That is what privacy means to me. The word anonymity focuses more on the Markets for me.
I think you didn't understand the core of what I was saying. My point is that you are actually investing in a coin that in my view will only thrive if it is accepted in the Darknet Markets. In other words, if you gain heavy profits with NAV it will probably be thanks to the Darknet Markets accepting the coin. All these other things you mentioned, in my view, though these applications are nice, they don't look like things that will substantially increase NAV's marketcap. Of course, this is only my opinion and I wish I am wrong but I think Monero already proved that it mainly needed the Darknet Market to get a serious marketcap.

I do understand your point The thing is that I want, perhaps wishful thinking, that Nav will be used for good. For people that need privacy, don't we all? The use for illegal services might, and probably will come, once Nav Coin is more well known and people trust the tech. It is something you cannot stop. I just really hope that journalists for example will pick up Nav and use it for financial privacy. As I said, maybe wishful thinking.

Make up your mind. You are still not clear about darknet and what it is. You are just going by the mainstream media FUD on darknet. If you have seen the video I had referred earlier and many such articles on darknet you would understand that crimes and illegal activites take place a lot more on the surface web than the dark web. NAV should realize its value as did Bitcoin. Hopes and wishful thinking can only make you feel good but it doesn't help the matter at hand.

Yes, but I think NAV needs its decentralization to be finished first.

Yes, but I think NAV needs its decentralization to be finished first. Sure, I agree. For now I'm concerned only about shrinking marketcap. It shows that demand for NAV is poor despite all brilliant development and coming decentralization. We all should think about adoption. It is the first and foremost issue.

The faucet is down most of the time. I used to report on it but gave up. Ever since the coin increased in price (from <1000 I mean) the faucet pays too well so people hit it all the time. Now it's just empty all the time anyway.

Or ... with the current problems in India it might be very useful there to do business without governments knowing it. Government is banning cash there in order to avoid people doing business without government knowing it and avoiding taxation. Coins like NAV could be a way out for the people there.

Extremely expensive $$$$ & Hard to connect to internet where I am. I have connected to the INTERNET
Life is Wonderfull!
Donald Trump President!
Needed.
USA 21 Trillion in Debt with China Saving and turning 16 Trillion. China is rocking and US looks bad but still pretending to be the best. This will last only a few more years. Lucky Trump will bring Reality to the US economy.
Yes I came first in Economics 9 years straight so was always focusing on Debt & Savings.
I'm the ultimate beliver in Democracy BUT. The Communist Chinese have worked HARD and sacrifised 100 years on everything . Most likely in 1 Generation they haved saved and look prosperus .
The USA have put 3 future Generatons into Debt with a system that relies on Debt and a 3% minorty holding 97% total wealth !
3% Holding the Planets entie wealth struggling to now find more debt with 0.00000% interest So close.
97% in Debt . The worlds ecomomy has expied -
The Future
Bitcoin consumes to much power and the Blockchain consuming and growing larger in GB then TB is a Dead end
Slow , Unrealiable in community development and simply used for illegal transactions.
The HaShForce101 challenge
Make NAV
Easy , Fast , Secure , Private and Extremely Power Effiicent BUT ultimatly detach All Reationship fron Bitcoin.
Crpto currency will last another 2 years
There is 1 Hope!
Darkmarkets
The Number 1 Darkmarket is .
The American Military

That is the plan. however if it's not ready then is might be early 2017. I expect Dec 2016 but tracing down subtle bugs that only show when first group of outside servers starts up could delay things until it's exactly right for full open source release. BTW not a dev, just my observations on what I hear.

We will keep you all informed with our progress over the next weeks and set the date as soon as we can say it with certainty. Cheers!
