Poloniex are bigger market than Bittrex and many buyers with big pockets full BTC.
So some people want buy because read lasts press article on coindesk.com and bought. Maybe they not have accounts on bittrex I think.
But NAV is NAV. They can swap it 1:1 ratio so its not problem or maybe Polo make update coin soon.

I know , but that doesn't really explain the double price anyone with "Old" nav on polo would be crazy not to dump into polo wall and buy back @ bittrex at half price.

like you wrote before = Polo have NAV 1.0 an d Bittrex NAV 2.0 so nobody can buy on bittrex and send them to Poloniex to dump. And nobody have old NAV from active NAV owners. Swap was 1 month ago so anybody know this and make swap.
And more important on Poloniex are small amounts Nav coins in orderbook so 1-2 btc can make 100-200% rise price up. So its normal but not logic ofc Smiley

I am some sadly why I no keep some amount old NAV to sell it on Polo now. But nobody know that Polo is to lazy make update wallet to new.

Like I wrote .. anyone With OLD NAV on polo can just dump into buy wall and buy back @ bittrex for half price I'm not sure wich part of that is confusing you.
You don't need to explain to me about the swap ive been here the whole time and had my coins ready on bittrex when swap happend.
I have made requests to Poloniex  Via Form and chat box to Upgrade Nav to Nav 2.0.
It seems like they just don't care about customers with less then 100 btc volume or something like that.
Very disappointing for a site that was doing that about total a day a couple years ago their just ignoring the little guys that made them great.

I was not wrote only to you but for other people not familiar with NAV like you. Sorry if you have problem with my exlplanation.
I try told in my opionion on Poloniex bought new peoples not know thats market its not updated. Bought after possitive press article from 1 july on coindesk chceck first big green candle 1 july too.
So nobody dump on Polo because there coins was almost abandon and not checked by owner. Only some new people bought some and put some buy orders. Who know about swap before send coins from Poloniex to Bittrex long time ago.
Its my opinion.
And yes IF I will had any old Nav I will sell them with pleasure on Poloniex. But I dont have old coins.

Sry bad english.

How many NAV was dropped in  dead Cryptsy ?.

I think it was estimated @ 4 -6 mln but there is no confirmation since its unsure what the Cryptsy wallets where.

Polo @ 2295 atm with buy support vs bittrex 1100 .. old nav more valuable then new nav ? erm whats going on.

I would explain this as a simple supply vs demand issue. There are only 300K NAV for sale on Polo vs 4.2 Million on Bittrex. It would be expected that a market with such a limited supply of coins will have a higher price. The price difference is not because people think the old coin is better, of course it is not better. Users on the old coin are missing out on a lot of new features!

We will get everyone on the new chain in good time. Keep sending messages to Poloniex, Tweeting @Poloniex, complaining on reddit etc.. it is very annoying for the dev team as well as you I am sure.

Cheers,
Craig.

What I would expect to happen is a dump on Polo instead of a shortage-driven pump.
I cannot believe that people buying NAV on Polo right now do not know about the swap. At the very least they would cross reference price with Bittrex, see the massive difference and get suspicious. And then ultimately learn about the swap.

But instead of people trying to dump it on Polo buyers willing to take the trouble to manually swap (or risk waiting for Polo to get their act together), they actually pay the premium for getting the old coin  Huh

It really makes 0 sense

Could it be some one tired of waiting for polo. someone that has a large stash of btcs and possible very invested in NAV and thus buying up from uses who dont bother to speed up the process.

Hopefully yesterdays update to the website makes it much clearer to new investors about what is happening with Bittrex vs Poloniex.

Don't forget that we should show AlcurEX some love, they are trading Nav 2.0 https://alcurex.com/#NAV-BTC

If you are not selling your NAV can you please remove it from the BUY orders on Bittrex and start staking again on the NEW wallet -
Thanks

I think you mean SELL orders or I don't  understand what you are saying Wink

Thanks Sluppy

Yes please remove from SELL orders.

There is Interest to be earned PLUS 22BTC to  2000 sat which I can't even crack which is crazy.

We are currently a small community. When NAV gets Decentralized we will gain traction from Business of the Anonymous Network.

Until then NAV 2.0 sell orders is overwhelming. OR I need to organize an old fashioned you no what.

This whole 2 versions of NAV shenanigans is not helping us. EVERYONE has had more than enough notice. TURN OFF NAV V1 and move forward.

New investors will think something weird is going on and not buy for fear of getting burned.

IS IT NOT SIMPLE ENOUGH TO JUST OFFER TO SWAP MANUALLY FOR THOSE RETARDS THAT STILL INSIST ON TRADING 1.0?

Good things have been done, good press has been received and it's being pissed on by the guessing game of which nav to buy.

END IT NOW and move on!

Why investors do not sell NAV on Poloniex @1700 sat and not buy on the Bittrex @1100 sat ?
It is a little not reasonable.

It is a little not reasonable.

Investors who purchase NAV 1.0 Coins @Poloniex will soon relise they have purchased a semi supported product with the hassle of a Manual swap + 0 future development from the NAV Team or support from it's community. The entire NAV community can see the price is inflated on Poloniex .With little BTC required..

The entire community has moved forward with the new BIP implementations on NAV 2.0.

Poloniex is trying to sell a dead horse !

New investors must read NAV Coin

support ticket opened to Poloniex !

I can't believe they have not upgraded.... SYSCOIN 2.0 wasn't too long ago and is literally the exact same thing NAVcoin has just gone through.  I am sure their are other examples as well that I am unaware of, people don't invest in a certain version of a crypto wallet, they invest in the team/community behind it.

Regardless of what POLO decides to do, they need to make their customers aware of what they are trading on their exchange.  If they decide to stay on the old fork for whatever reason ( valid or nonsense ), they need to clearly indicate that they are not trading the current version of NAVcoin.... and even morso, provide a process on how to go about withdrawals/deposits on the old fork, Even its just a link to the NAV coin website instructions or something simple.

I feel bad for anyone that has been confused or lost coins due to this situation, it is not the fault of NAVcoin, but I still feel bad for any negative experience a NAV supporter goes through due to this crappy situation.

I 'somewhat' understand that NAV is not a top priority for them since the market volume isn't as high as other coins, but at least put a disclaimer on the NAV trading/deposit/withdrawal page that they are on an old fork and not compatible with latest client release of NAV until they have the time to upgrade the wallet.  This would be in THEIR best interest to avoid numerous support tickets coming in from people wondering why their deposit/withdrawals are not showing up.

I am confident that this ordeal will settle, but I hope it happens before larger trading volumes starts coming in.

Good work on the NAV team for doing what they can to stay on top of this situation !!!
