We are the NavajoCoin we are united and the name is staying, I had my doubts in the past, but no more. So I re-read the below statement (STATEMENT from NavajoCoin OP) many many times. Its perfect. I also re-searched there history and legend. The mission of the Navajo Code talkers was to Encrypt messages for the United States war machine. The NavajoCoin will do the same (Encrypt) and if our community coin can do what the US achieved with the help of the Navajo Code Talkers, we will have more of honored them then anyone else in the Crypto currency world . The US government has approved donations to senators via Bitcoins which is a great step forward for Crypto currency's.

Look deeper into the NavajoCoin whitepaper naming scheme and then related wiki links and ultimately you will find the correct name was chosen for a encrypted Crypto currency coin by a new generation of young people from around the world in 2014 trying to implement a state of the art encryption technology for the future.
We respect the people of the past and it is because of them we have our freedoms today.
Also encryption and anonymity is not a gimmick or trend. Its implementation is current , innovative and evolving and its technology has risen past even what Bitcoin offers today with a market cap of $6 billion.. Its needed now and into the future. Also you failed to mention the coin was resurrected by a new Developer ~soopy~ when the old Developer ran away in the summer coin days .
