Is this really that big of a deal everyone? If the dev can implement the features that were outlined in the project plan then I don't care if he borrowed ideas from something else that isn't crypto related. Do you know how many other coins just copy and paste code from open source projects? All of them.
If you're questioning whether he can actually deliver on those ideas, then that's valid, but what coin that is less than 1 week old DOESNT have that problem?

Is this really that big of a deal everyone? If the dev can implement the features that were outlined in the project plan then I don't care if he borrowed ideas from something else that isn't crypto related. Do you know how many other coins just copy and paste code from open source projects? All of them.
Anyone who is so damn lazy to copy and paste a whitepaper is clearly not a qualified developer who can actually make it work. Also if the dev is legit, he's had over 2 months now to work on this anon coin since the Dark craze. You mean to tell me he launches a coin, gets everyone to mine it, watches the price rise a little, THEN drops a poorly copied whitepaper on everyone? Why didn't he apply these whitepaper concepts and work on the coin the last 2 months and release it with a beta in the first day? That would have been amazing. Instead it is a stall and delay tactic to rise the price on hype and then cash out and move on to the next coin. |

I'm pretty sure the dev straight up said he used some parts of other projects in a post earlier. I'll look for it. I don't think it's a big deal. Collaboration is good. EDIT: LOOK!!! DEV UPDATE!!
Paper released. I hope you all are satisfied with it, it took many hours of time and effort.

The dev was honest with everyone about him having used parts of other projects when he released the paper this morning, yet you go galavanting all over the internet as if the revelation that SHLD's whitepaper resembles RetroShare's means that somehow this project is a scam. This kind of shit in the crypto world is getting real old, real fast. Everyone thinks they have the right to be a crypto-journalist and "expose" things and in doing so forget to research the whole story. Now kindly fuck off. |
