Theymos, a veteran in the Bitcoin community, posted a thread on Bitcointalk a few hours ago stating that he received an email from an old email address known to belong to Satoshi Nakamoto: satoshin@gmx.com. Theymos said that the e-mail stated, and he quotes: “Michael, send me some coins before I hitman you.” Theymos recognized that the “real” Satoshi Nakamoto would probably not send that message, and as such he declared that Satoshi Nakamoto’s accounts had been compromised

 “Dear Satoshi. Your dox, passwords and IP addresses are being sold on the darknet. Apparently you didn’t configure Tor properly and your IP leaked when you used your email account sometime in 2010. You are not safe. You need to get out of where you are as soon as possible before these people harm you. Thank you for inventing Bitcoin.”
