Since the relevant posts got deleted for evading a ban, just an FYI that Marto, Bick and apparently a couple others got banned for their spam fest across the Hardware forum.

so, status report of boards:
1 of 4 is rock stable, no problem at all 1 of 4 is working on 400G, but it is reseting:
[2014-09-30 11:45:32] HEXM 565 Chip[2] 16 consecutive HW errors reset [2014-09-30 11:48:57] HEXM 565 Chip[3] last received nonce 6 secs ago reset [2014-09-30 11:49:00] HEXM 565 failure, disabling!
2 of 4 has only half working chips - at 200G is unstable (reset few times in hour and then got to ZOMBIE). At 100G it is working relative ok, but only 1/4 power of 400G :-((
marto, do you want try the two bad boards with remote ssh? or should I sent it to you to RMA?

I was having the same problem with 1 of my boards. I tightened all the heat sinks and checked temperatures and it still didnt help. Then I lowered the clock without lowering the voltage and it stopped the resets. If I remember correctly, my boards are currently running at 860 clock with 780mV and are quite stable, but only doing about 340GH/s each. I just tell myself that it is more power efficient this way.

We'll probably acceleration in difficulty during northern hemisphere winter as miners turn on old rigs for discounted heating bills.

The standard Intel 1150 sinks fit if you remove the pushpin and locker thing, it can be mounted by using the screws and plastic pipes that hold the brackets that only serve Arctic Coooling Freezers 7. They however don't touch the chips so I need to buy copper 15x15mm x 1mm spacers. Bummer, at least a week waiting.
Bobsag3, please work on the shipping refund.

What got changed on the boards we are getting and the one user 2good received ? For one im seeing a lot less capacitors on the board and im tsting the board now on all diff kind of clock setings and voltage settings.. but im not nearly getting the "Good" efficientcy number as 2good was getting with undervolting!! Marto did you reduce your BOM to save money with a result a less efficient miner.. the most efficient im getting now is 1,08 W/GH and thats 660mV 400Mhz or 1,13W/GH 760mV 700MHz that no where near the 0,78 2good was getting !!!

Hi, There is no difference in terms of power efficiency between the bom with a lot of caps ( it was intended for 8 chip version) and this one . IF you use bigger PSU you can see about 15% difference. Als check again 2 good measurements @ the wall . Best Vesi

Best Vesi You would have to be using a pretty shitty PSU to see a 15% difference between even a Platinum PSU operating in its most efficient zone (92-93%) and a crap PSU fully loaded. You're talking about <80% efficiency.
