I am not entirey sure I understand the question. The ICO is a presale for first distribution. The PoW phase is distribution through mining. But it's the same coin.

Is anyone elses wallet connected to the network? mine seems to be Networks not live yet Correct. http://blog.viacoin.org/2014/07/14/network-launch-update.htmlWe are running the network but have not released the clients. This is the final stage of testing. Vialectrum network has been turned on, but since no-one has any coins yet, you can send anything. During this phase the block reward is set to zero. When we are ready to release, which looks to be soon, we'll set the zero block limit and then distribute the full node. Presale participants will see coins in their Vialectrum wallets before this happens however (shortly after the presale closes).

slow close to buying a few but notice the charts and realized this must be the worst investment at the moment. This is similar to hosting a ICO on bittrex or any other exchange for that matter but instead of a fixed price its basically being exchanged freely. So I buy at 3000 sat now and someone else bought it at 500 sat before me basically made me a fucken bagholder. Right when this coin hits bittrex at launch its going to be dumped by the early buyers which I assume invested quite abit at dirt cheap prices. The suckers that bought about above 2k sats are automatically in loss. Fair launch but unfair ICO. I expect this coin to be dumped hard at launch, nothing new to offer. This is a newer version of Ultracoin aka ultra fast transactions, with a few fancy images and different wording to make it look like this coin is something different. Devs could you please upload some pictures of your vacation, its gonna be a fucken blast with a $100k to blow on coke and hookers

As far as I know, each investor of the ICO gets a proportional amount of coins according to how much BTC they put in, regardless of when.

wow you you sound silly now. There is 10,000,000 coins distributed between the ico investors. the more goes in the more the 10mill coins are essentially worth. i got in early but i wont get any more coins tha you if you invested same amount as me. another case of someone blowing off loads of crap without understanding. read again and then read your comment

You are not buying at a fixed price. The price will be the same for everyone at the close of bidding because you get a percentage of the 10MM coins according to how much BTC you contributed to the pot. So if the ICO goes to 100BTC and you spent 1BTC, then in the end you get 1% of the coins, and the rate to everyone would be 1000 sats.

Its reading that the current price per coin had gone up to 3k sats, so if i buy 1 btc worth of coins I'm buying it a price 3k per coin correct?

Are more people put BTC in, your share of coins goes down and the value of the coins goes up. At the end the price shown *is* your cost price. via price = btctotal/10MM

So lets say it sits a 3k sats and it hits bittrex anyone selling below 3k, even people that bought it during the first hour of the ICO will be loosing profit?

So yes... what he said. You are buying 1 coin @ 3000 sats. No you are not. You have no idea how many coins you are buying or at what price until the end of the presale when it's calculated (as per the graph). Everyone pays the *SAME* rate for viacoins.
