DEV ,there is problem need to be concerned,,,only 10,000,000 VIA to be distributed by presale, but there are nearly 400BTC IPO. apparently , the 10% distribution proportion is too small for such a scale BTC IPO. I suggest increse the IPO distribution proportion to 30%, or our IPO member will lose their money to miners
If you look at mining rewards and how much come out and when, I am not particularly concerned. Most coin distribution will have to come from presale holders.

got it!
last thing, you have said here before that the ICO will last for sure until the last minute of the 15th of july. from that point further, what will effect the duration of the ICO?? is there a limit of BTC you are hoping to achieve? is there a certain amount of users you're looking for? don't just say "it will end when i say so" please elaborate.
I will announce a fixed cutoff time in the next 24 hours. I am under a lot of pressure to end the presale tomorrow at 23:59:59 UTC so there is a high possibility it will end then. You should cut off the time today at 23:59:59UTC instead of tomorrow silently. Because if you do that tomorrow, maybe some speculator would buy a huge percent just just before the deadline as you claimed. That's would be unfair for early investors. Your are so greedy much than crypti.

Can someone check my math? I posted this before but it was ignored.
It is said that the miner's won't be able to sell/dump coin for a while. But, at a 24 second block time (over 2880 blocks per day) that tells me that after 1 day of mining that miners will start getting rewards. Those rewards will be about 28k coins per day.
So, might it be cheaper to mine this coin starting D2 than to buy it at the current ICO price? I'm just wondering. I bought some in the ICO, but might I have been better off spending that money on a mining rig rental?

I could not send btc to my address cause it started with the number 3, I thought that BTC addresses has to start with 1? Am I out dated? Means you using an outdated wallet - addresses beginning with a 3 are multisig addresses. If you are using Multibit or Armoury, you must upgrade to the latest versions. Either that or send to another wallet first, then out from there.

All depends on the buyers, developers and community. If buyers will not be interested in the coin, then the price will fall below the price of pre-sale. Who knows? 700k in the first month is not big pressure if all the promises will be actively implemented. If I'm not mistaken it's about 1.5 GH/s for the pre-sale cap 500 BTC (based on nicehash scrypt current price). But now we have almost nothing except some base and marketing.

It has already been stated before, The mining is slow, so the majority of sales will be from the IPO investors to begin with anyway, the mining will not drown out trade volume as mining is only a small amount per day. But also take into account this is a new crypto similar to qora and NXT in its attempts to be unique and something new. 400 btc is currently around $240,000 market cap . even if it was to start on coinmarketcap at $1 million market cap , IPO investors would see a 300% profit on amount invested. Just because you see your potential profits dwindling doesn't mean they should stop just because you say so. It is not unfair . just because you are crying because your potential 500% in now a potential of 300% doesn't mean it is unfair.

And your predictions, you don´t know if it starts at 1$ Mio, who should buy this, if every single BTC went into IPO? No buyers ---> price below ipo price --> no trading volume --> no further distribution --> mining/dumping incoming --> RIP Viacoin I am not going to dump for 300% anyway, but mistakes in the early stages can kill a coin pretty fast.

Most coins that are currently cloned and made mine millions within a few days sometimes 10's of millions in the space of 5 days. The mining of this coin will be much much lower. it is entirely possible it could drop in price if demand isn't big but it would have to be pretty low amount of interest for the price to drop low and be dumped

As i have previously stated, the way the mining has been implemented has actually improved the chances of survival in the beginning with the slow mining rate decreasing the chance of dumps since the mining reward is so small to begin with.

I like the coin. I like the vision I like the dev tweets / logic I like the pre-sale (too old to mine) I like the multi-sig ICO concept
I hate the waiting I hate the limited info (the team, the progress, the road-map...) I am disoriented with the coin name (i'm dyslectic; too many V coins- vericoin, vertcoin, vootcoin... viacoin)
Bottom line, i reached a 51% consensus with myself to trust, invest, hold, hope, and hopefully develop an app on ClearingHouse IF it delivers what I believe i'm reading between the lines. It's a complicated world... Let the game begin!!!
