i got it working great on PC.  i could not get it to launch on OSX.  i do not have linux.  

so what you are experience may not be unique.  perhaps there is a linux bug too.

I had it working on a Windows virtual machine, used the address, then it decided to not open the next time (probably a fault of the VM). Hopefully the osx bug gets fixed and I can just open my wallet there using the original seed phrase.

Anyone able to open Vialectrum on Mac Osx Mavericks? Opens then quits right away.

bug is confirmed by btcdrak, he's aware of it so i suppose we should expect a solution soon. In the meantime i bought in through the paper wallet solution

I used 2FA.  I was able to get the seed phrase then it closed and has never been able to open.  If I delete the wallet/folder I'm assuming it will give me a new seed phrase correct?  I'm using Windows 7 64bit.  I was able to use the paper wallet for the BTC deposit.

Yes, if you delete the folder you will get a new seed. Please choose standard wallet. If you used any addresses from the 2FA wallet, save it.

Yes, if you delete the folder you will get a new seed. Please choose standard wallet. If you used any addresses from the 2FA wallet, save it.

That worked, thanks.  I see how to import the private key from my paper wallet into it but how do I import the address into it?  I think it would be under receive somewhere.  Do I need to load the transaction from the blockchain?
