The first-bits service is now working:

http://capt.co.in/

Enter a complete CAPTcoin address and you'll get the shorter prefix that uniquely identifies it in the CAPTcoin block chain.

You will also be assigned a short URL.

For example, for my address Ce4c3qSQFbWrhSrGCKMwvRb6GHmD2wzvua,
the resulting prefix is ce4.

http://capt.co.in/ce4

Dev which is advantage of use  a shorter prefix instead of wallet address?

Mainly to remember your address.

Anyone can remember ce4 but nobody will remember Ce4c3qSQFbWrhSrGCKMwvRb6GHmD2wzvua.

So I can now ask somebody to send a payment to ce4 and that would be enough.

ok I understand now is very good idea, by the way how many letters and digits prefix use?  is fixed 3 only?

Whatever number of characters is required to uniquely identify an address.

Older addresses have priority and therefore usually have a shorter prefix.

For example, if you enter the prefix 'c', you'll get the address used to mine all 20 million CAPT, because it was the first one to appear with that prefix (the first CAPTcoin address ever).

On the other hand, if your address shares the same 5 first  characters with an older one, then 6 chars would be required to uniquely identify it.

This is what makes the value to drop. When the price was 1,386 Sat/Capt in Bittrex, someone then dumped over 8k Capts for only 1,200 Sat/Capt. Is there someone trying to mess around this coin? See screenshot below...

Great Smiley Thanks.

For my taste it's way too orange, it requires too many clicks to navigate, and the columns are too separate so it can be difficult to know which balance corresponds to which address.

Any designer that can post their feedback?

Well,

As Ecua said I also think that the columns are too separated.
About navigation, ergo, what about adding some NavBar right under the Header ? I can design three icons : RichList, Addresses stats and CAPT stats.

Sounds good! I'll try using a navbar, and I've moved over the columns.
Also, any ideas for colors?

Your wallet has to be online and either unlocked or non-encrypted. That's all.

The process is random, the more coins you have and the older your coins are, the more chances you have to stake.

So how will we know the age of each coins we have? And If a coin is 51 days old or more is it still going to stake or not?

Well, you can look at coins in your wallet by using 'coin-control'  'Settings, Options, Display'  check 'coin-control'...

They will show the inputs as 'highest', 'high', 'medium-high', 'medium' etc...

And yes, your wallet must be unlocked and not encrypted to stake... and you must not set a reserve balance in either your captcoin.conf file or by hand in the debug console...

Coins older than 51 days will be highest priority to stake...

We have a lot of CAPTcoin wallets out there, thousands...  my guess is staking is just a lot harder than it used to be..

Thanks for explaining it. I just thought that when a coin reach maximum age (50 days) it will not stake.

Or what about showing everything at the same time?

For example the general stats at the top, then the search form for a specific address, and then the first page (top 50).

At the bottom, there could be either the pager as it is now, or a "Show more" button or link to load more via jQuery.

About the color, I don't know but I think a darker one (even black) would be easier to read.

I was forgetting about "wealth_distribution" and "average" from https://api.captcoin.com/address/top/stats.

Including that, it would probably be too crowded to show everything on one page.

I have adjusted the color to a dark blue that turns black when your cursor is on it. I think I'll stay with the navigation buttons at the bottom because I don't currently know how to do any "Load More" buttons that get more of them. This also keeps the page size smaller, which is nice. If you have any other ideas you can tell me, I'll work on a navigation bar when Kebooz is done with the buttons.
