A year is too short. Litecoin, who for a long time had no competition took almost full 3 years to reach it's maximum value. With all this altcoin competition in the market 3 years for CAPT is far more optimistic, may take longer than that to reach real value.

In fact everyone should do this now:

go to debug window

Type:  dumpprivkey <Your CAPT Address>     ( For each address you have for CAPT )

And save those results to hard copy for your safe, or locked desk or something....

Then you can always rebuild your CAPT wallet...  no matter what happens....

How about a quick API call that returns the total number of CAPT in circulation? Just that number... nothing else...

Actually calling https://api.captcoin.com/address/top/stats is more effective.

If the API returns a simple number, it's harder to implement error detection in the client.
