oh my god its like capt is going to the buttom this is really really bad!!!  OMG you worry too much... go ahead and dump your coins... I am sure someone will gladly slurp them up... A large number of people are using it like a bitcoin faucet ( and likely making some 'VERY SMART PERSON ( tm )' 10 percent for every coin they dump. This is not only expected but normal... many people do not see the wisdom of a coin.... I would expect as people are adding stuff to do... dice, rock paper scissors, etc, they will wish they had not dumped their CAPT. Relax! |

question can someone explain this for me some of my balance went to stake ,why??! and i got some miner thing ?it say i mined some coins?0.06amount or something like that  That's the POS. Your coins earn interest while they're in your wallet. how much will i get and when will i get more? and also can i use the amount in stake? Your wallet sends coins to itself to create a new CAPTcoin block. This is how POS works ( rather than mining for a block ) The coins are unspendable until they mature ( also like a POW block ) but after they mature you get your stake and the POS value added back to your wallet. Then they start staking again.... so if you do nothing you keep getting new coins.... the chance of staking depends on your coin age and the network weight.... network weight has to do with how many people like yourself are staking at the same time and coin age is how long you have held coins without a transaction... you will eventually stake, but people with older coins have a better chance mathematically of staking before you do.... however also like POW you can get lucky and stake young coins..... I would just leave your wallet open and happily sit back and stake.... if you really need to reserve some coins for spending there is a way to do that.... but the reserved coins will NOT stake.... |

Just found out about this coin. I'm giving it a try but I gotta say getting the captcha wrong really gets on your nerve after a while. It's well known that the first of the 3 captchas you're using is one of the most annoying thing on the internet. It's ok if you're getting numbers but the letters just makes you wanna hunt down however came up with that stupid letter mixing technique  I managed to get 5 coins so far but I don't know if I'll keep at it for long. But at least it's original Good luck with your project! |

so the worker would get paid in CAPTcoin and hence introduce crypto-currency to even more people
I've seen one or two company are already paying via Bitcoin, but not really the best option for the workers

No, CAPT stands for Captain I think. Once the price will go up it might be possible to expand it's popularity with Captcha solver companies cooperations. But that's a pure future and depending on Dev and community. - Follow @CAPTcoin and RT what you consider useful
- Like FB/CAPTcoin and share some posts
- Post in this thread at least 2-3 times per day. For example post your ideas, or quote somebody else and comment - Join the efforts for new developments
- Post your ideas here
- Post what you can do to help (designing, coding, promoting)
- Create new threads asking for help or offering bounties (just make sure to follow the rules of the forum) - Donate to the dev. fund or the giveaway fund.
The first giveaway (for only ⟳50) has resulted in more than 100 followers and 100 "likers" so far.
So even ⟳5 can make a big difference.
After donating, post here to encourage other people to do the same.
Imagine everybody will do the same as you do. If you do nothing, nobody will do anything. But if you donate ⟳10, help with a new development and promote the coin, image what thousands of people will do. CAPTcoin is doing well. And it can do great if everybody works together. It will have no problem surpassing BTC0.05 after the distribution ends, considering how many people will know about it, will hold it, and how scarce it will be. |

If all was going at maximum there would be 20,000,000 CAPTcoins maxing out after a few years to 100,000,000 CAPT.
Obviously that will not happen... there won't be 20,000,000 initial CAPT after the destruction of the unclaimed coins...
Say the number of coins after destruction is only 1,000,000 ( just an example ) does this mean they can only stake up to a max of 5,000,000? or does the one million coins eventually make it up to 100,000,000 as well just over a way longer period of time?
