It's looks great, I like this one!
Is this the first coin that can play a lotto game?
And we need more details.
Who control the lottery game? and how Merged Mining works?

After all, i like this coin, and I'd like to buy some to play your game!

Well, a lottery is a 'slim odds-big payout' type game.

Would you prefer to see something with better odds and lower payout - say still with 6 numbers drawn . . .

i) choose 1 number from 42 with a 6x payout
ii) choose 2 numbers from 42 with a ~30x payout
iii) choose 3 numbers from 42 with a ~100x payout

Yes, of course that would be much better. Around 6x would be a good payout , although why not include an odds-on selection (like satoshi dice, maybe just a few different). That would encourage a few much bigger stakes to be placed, which would be good for the overall balance of currency distribution.

Say, forecast of lowest draw number / highest draw number,  eg. lowest <21,<30,  highest >20 , >12 etc.  Some players feel more comfortable getting a small payout on the majority of draws, and only losing occaisionally.

Thanks - that's an interesting idea - by choosing a lowest/highest number drawn, we could have quite a range of odds.

A few observations and info for posterity  Wink

Maybe you should mention on the front page how to look up your lottery results once you've played ie. double-click on the Ticket in the Transactions view.
How long does it take for a draw to take place btw?

I used my dogecoin wallet (after moving all the dogecoin) it also imports the dogecoin transaction history which stays at the top of Recent transactions grayed out. Ugly and harmless, just thought I'd mention it, I'm currently too lazy to copy everything to a new wallet.

I got twice my doge allocation 160LTS (woohoo!) I guess more than 1 dogecoin address above 500 in the same wallet.

The following is only if you compile lottoshares yourself on Linux : You need to import all the angelshares.txt, bitcoin.txt text files from the release/ directory in the git repo. Otherwise you get the following error if you run lottoshares-qt from a terminal :

Code:
lottoshares-qt: src/main.cpp:3080: bool InitBlockIndex(): Assertion `block.hashMerkleRoot == merklerootGenesisBlock' failed.

Quick instructions : copy the bitcoin.txt etc files to the same directory as lottosharesd, tail -f ~/.lottoshares/debug.log to follow progress, run ./lottoshared in its directory, let it do its stuff. Then go and run lottoshares-qt.

I was stuck on a fork at block 2370 lottoshares-qt -reindex didn't fix it I had to remove the chainstate & database directories. This meant I then had to reimport the angelshares.txt, bitcoin.txt etc

I have a bug (or possibly an unintentional feature) Smiley If you select a set of numbers that do not increment ie . 1 2 3 4 5 4 then pressing the Play Ticket button does nothing. I imagine you intend to reorder the numbers sometime and allow the idiot player to continue.

Lastly running from a terminal lottoshares-qt outputs the following :
Code:
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_sweepButton_clicked()
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()
Object::connect: No such signal OverviewPage::doubleClicked(QModelIndex)
Object::connect:  (sender name:   'OverviewPage')
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()

Something not joined up? System : Fedora 20 x86_64, compiled with non-standard SSL libraries.

small edit for grammar

Guys I'm trying to get my lottoshares from my sharecoin address. My question is this on

Step 4
Locate your LottoShares wallet.dat file, copy your old Dogecoin wallet (the one with 0 balance) over the top of it.

I will just copy and replace the wallet.dat (lottoshare) with my wallet.dat (sharecoin)? Am I doing it right? Hope someone can guide me
thanks guys!

Lee

Hi Lee,

With ShareCoin (and FootballCoin), you're probably best using the importprivkey command if you know how to use that - (the ShareCoin distribution will always be linked to a single address, but with other coins, multiple addresses can contain a distribution).

Maybe you should mention on the front page how to look up your lottery results once you've played ie. double-click on the Ticket in the Transactions view.

Thanks - good idea, added some more info to the main post

I used my dogecoin wallet (after moving all the dogecoin) it also imports the dogecoin transaction history which stays at the top of Recent transactions grayed out. Ugly and harmless, just thought I'd mention it, I'm currently too lazy to copy everything to a new wallet.

I think bitcoin has a feature that allows you to zap old transactions with a command line option - I shall look at including that.

I got twice my doge allocation 160LTS (woohoo!) I guess more than 1 dogecoin address above 500 in the same wallet.

I was stuck on a fork at block 2370 lottoshares-qt -reindex didn't fix it I had to remove the chainstate & database directories. This meant I then had to reimport the angelshares.txt, bitcoin.txt etc

Not sure why that is still coming up - we should include a hardcoded checkpoint to get users past this.

I have a bug (or possibly an unintentional feature) Smiley If you select a set of numbers that do not increment ie . 1 2 3 4 5 4 then pressing the Play Ticket button does nothing. I imagine you intend to reorder the numbers sometime and allow the idiot player to continue.

If the numbers are invalid (repeated number), it fails silently, rather than alerting the user to the problem.

Lastly running from a terminal lottoshares-qt outputs the following :
Code:
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_sweepButton_clicked()
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()
Object::connect: No such signal OverviewPage::doubleClicked(QModelIndex)
Object::connect:  (sender name:   'OverviewPage')
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()
QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_deleteButton_clicked()

I think there are some loose ends in the code - I trust this isn't causing a problem other than these warning messages though?

Many thanks for the detailed feedback - it's very helpful for usability to get these issues highlighted and resolved.

都12小时过去了,那81个LTS还一直未确认。

嘗試“修復錢包”命令。
不会搞啊!!!

Go to 幫助 --> 調試窗口。

这个我知道,就不知道那条命令是修复。

您应该联系谁送的那些硬币的人。

我相信这是可能重新交易。

You should contact the person who sent those coins.

I believe it is possible to recreate the transaction.
