that is a very short term outlook right there. bitcoin should be seen as investment. altcoins can be used as smaller denomination currency

U don't understand how current alt coin works. Alt coin is meant for short term. Anyone who think alt coin is for long term will have a very high chance of losing money or making very little money.

I lost a lot of BTC holding alt coin for long term. Once i understand alt is for short term, i start to make some BTC. As time goes by thinking alt coin is for short term, i begin to make some serious BTC.

I wonder how old are you? This kind of "opportunity" in the market is an anomaly and the only reason you are making any money on trading shitcoins is because there are more people who are losing as shitcoins are negative-sum game. It cannot last for long and it is just a matter of time when this "opportunity" will die. This cannot end up well for the alts unless something changes dramatically.

Basically any shitcoin can become popular if dedicatedpool starts mining it and Bittrex lists it which always happens. So the market is not free, it is centralized and full of shitcoins.  

Old enough to make some serious BTC playing "the game".

Understand the game.

Play the game.

Make money.

Sounds like a good procedure for a long lasting coin. Large exchanges is key to high volume. High volume means high demand, high demand means adoption. Follow the footsteps of Bitcoin, without the pre-mine/dev insta-mine as this coin had a fair launch with well distributed hashes. Will be anticipating the "security is key" motto and what it's all about.

Hey, enjoy it so long as there are stupid people. I made a couple BTC off of it for the increased profitability of X13. On the other hand we may see it for a while, greed and envy have driven casinos for a long time, so it appears that human nature will always be looking for the next big thing, even if there is nothing truly to be seen.

As others have indicated, I like to indirectly profit off of them. I'm not grey enough to create my own crap and mislead people, but I'll certainly profit off of people doing stupid things while I tell them how stupid they are.
If they don't follow the advice, I'm happy to take their coins as additional profit.
