So you pivoted from being a currency to a storage platform. Ok. What's the cost per kilobyte to store a hash?
Cost currently 0.01 IOC per KB.

Cost currently 0.01 IOC per KB. For a short while anyway! is the price per kb....for now 0.01 ioc per kb....is that for perpetuity? price to physical storage may be comparable....but physical storage has a life span and needs to be replaced after a period of time. In theory, the blockchain IO digital will provide will exist for 100-200 years. Almost zero chance of failure and compared to physical storage...infinite life span.

Cost currently 0.01 IOC per KB. That's almost 3x more expensive than FCT and can only get worse if price appreciates. Proof of existence is the low hanging fruit everyone is trying to tackle and I don't see IOC being better positioned better than FCT or some of the ETH companies out there. Someone feel free to jump in and talk about why IOC is different. I might be wrong, but having a decentralized exchange in the roadmap just screams me too! PoE and DEX are proven methods to pump a coin without increasing its actual value or utility. There's already 10+ dexs (with 10 more planned) and all are virtually unusable with a combined daily volume of $5k on good days.

Its easy to make it dynamic through the alias system ive already told joel how to do it and it will make things more scalable through a democratic mechanism

Our focused right now is in laying the groundwork, we are close to release with the proven and tested code that we have. DIONS will have upgrades to its code and all considerations will be taken seriously as we go along.
Thanks for everyone's input.

Really happy to hear Ioc will be there, it's a BIG event some huge businesses will be there. Hi, I will be traveling to the UK and attend the conference. We will not be speaking at the event (i did not see Stratis on the speakers menu either, i probably missed it). But we will be featuring with our logo in their communications at the location, tickets etc. Probably another team member / country manager will accompany me there as well. Cheers Richard

posted on slack already....with the up coming conferences and the release of dions, promoting IO digital takes on new importance. I would like to get these pens for the team, but I need some help. I am not sure what shipping will cost but I do figure some should go to Richard and some to Joel. and for sure to community members who would like to help the cause with a donation. I should be able to get these for around $1 and am willing to put up 1/3 or $100. If we can raise $200.00.....( .26 btc) i'll place order. Also, there are six messages that rotate in the window, so please help me figure out what 6 messages would make the most sense. https://bicgraphic.scene7.com/ir/render/BICGraphicRender/CSWBMES?wid=700&resMode=Sharp3&obj=object1/color1&color=6689CC&obj=imprint1&decal&src={ugc-file:iodigital_logo%20for%20pen.tif?wid=500&fmt=png-alpha&size=300,300}&show&res=200&fmt=jpeg&qlt=100,0&resMode=sharp3&pos=-0.06,0&rotate=0I'm going to follow this up with some lanyards, hopefully some woven ones ioc - idJGCpooUPxgq6RYXPG9MkN5ibmniD71bS btc - 19xj1DAqTLnqHXsVCmFA6APZFtuNQjfccp

Hi Vintage, Thanks for the heads up. Its always great to save a bunch and I could do that, but not the same pen so kind of comparing apples to oranges. you know like trying to compare blockchain projects. also and kind of important, I never done business with those guys and I'm not about to use them for first time for IO digital. This go round i'll stick with BIC and pay the premium. At some point we could give those scrolls pen a shot.

I have send you 0.1 BTC mate to get the ball rolling. $77.89 USD I am sure some more people here will donate also.
