Dev update - We continue to put final touches on UI for Group Chat. We are also getting things together for our first PodCast. You may join https://t.me/IOCPODCAST and please post your questions in that channel. The questions will be answered in our podcast. This will be our first PodCast with IOC including our lead dev Derek Hatton. This is a historic moment for IOC. We are extremely blessed to have Derek on board and this is an important time in IOC. Although we will try to cover many topics, I would like for the community to come up with good technical questions that you might have. Comparisons to other projects are not good questions because we don't follow the thousands of projects that are out there but you can make reference to what you have read etc and how would we tackle it or not etc. We want to keep the podcast lean and to the point so that developers that are out there can get a sense of what we are working on. Aside from the podcast once GChat is done, we have to move on to cham whitepaper. We have this month deadline to deliver the announcement. Thank you all and please join https://t.me/IOCPODCAST and leave your questions. Please don't chat in there just post questions. Thanks (PS) Unfortunately we have a troll (Chrisumz0r) you can check his history, I guess he is not happy that we continue to work regardless of market conditions that many know are due to Bitcoin movements as IOC is paired to btc.

I/O Digital Where Dreams Become Technology

I/O Digital has every reason to be in the top 10 for market cap.
It has a very similar amount of coins in circulation as Bitcoin (16,235,025 BTC) while I/O Digital has 16,320,322 IOC.
DIONS aliases instead of hash codes will make cryptocurrency more accessible to the average user, and encrypted messaging will become very popular.
2017 will be a good year, I'm happy to be aboard.
Thanks for the updates and all the hard work. On Slack it sounds like DIONS will be ready by summer 2017, it will be a great year.
Poloniex is doing this in an attempt to shield Ethereum from a massive crash once DIONS is released. They have a vested interest, so much so that I will be in contact with the SEC regarding an internal audit.
IOC will overtake ETH this year, delisting won't stop this technological revolution.
Great news! I don't see IOC remaining under $1 for very long.
New website looks great. Really enjoying the consistency of this project, keep it up.
I'll finally be able to create my alias. Very excited to see DIONS go live, worth the two years of waiting. Bumping for noobs so they don't get burned. Perhaps you were bumping to get "noobs" to sell their coins for cheap, what a clown

Volume is dead, my question is, why?! The chameleon protocol is really innovative and it would scale IOC in an unprecedented way. I wish there would be liquidity in the market to get myself 10k IOC because they are too cheap right now, considering all the development going on. Too sad that the exchange problem is a big issue.

more than 500k IOC exchanged hands in the last 2 weeks so surely you could have bought yourself 10k IOC and change

IOC is also listed on QIEX. More volume then Bittrex at the moment. https://www.qiex.com/exchange/IOC-USDTalso ETH pair https://www.qiex.com/exchange/IOC-ETHUSDT pair has $60k volume a day. ETH pair 250 ETH ($28k) a day. Maybe that will suit your requirements. Remember IOC is proof of stake and about 45% of all coins is in wallets staking. So there wont be much for sale in exchanges. The representative bittrex replied ioc will not be deleted
Screenshot or it's bullshit. The only thing this "team" has done is literally tweet at exchanges to add them. It's almost a joke at this point. Although I agree that the low volume and only one exchange is certainly a problem, exchanges are asking ridicilous amounts of btc to get listed. Rumor is that binance is asking around 100k. Since IOC had no ico and no premine it is pretty hard to get listed anywhere. So maybe instead of trashing the team you would like to donate some btc or at least write some helpful advice or something. Or maybe invest in some other coin which had a premine or ridicilously overpriced ico. Fact is that IOC has some unique features and will probably be recognised in the future as a great investment. Imho ioc is present for quite some time and that gives the investors insurence that the devolpment will continue and will not be abandonded. In the mean time you can stake your coins and receive some nice roi The "no ico and no premine" meme needs to die. That's not a good thing, it's the reason the top 100 wallets control over 75% of the IOC in circulation. Listening to the top wallets beg for donations is an absolute joke. The total market cap was less than $20,000 in 2015, so I'm sure at least some of the top 100 wallet holders would be willing to pay to get this scam listed on an exchange since they've seen a 1000% increase on their initial investment. Then again, greed is a factor. Prove that the team has only "tweeted", or that is a bullshit claim. It is only a joke to those who are not serious about it. Top wallets control a lot because they bought and hold. That is why it has continuously gotten harder to buy coins. Many here have talked about donated to get things done. This has happened, in spite of Joel not really wanting others to spend their money. Something you would know if you followed more than casually. The "no ico and no premine" is a point of pride with this team. Whether that is ultimately good or bad, only time will tell, but according to your own post, it obviously has not hurt the coin to this point. Greed is indeed at play. Stands out clearly when people come here bitching and moaning about what is not happening with the coin and wanting other people to accomplish something so that they can gain the benefit. So many post where people claim a coin is a "scam', yet they are interested enough to post about it. So, who is trying to scam who? IOC is what it is. The team is working at the pace they can work at, accomplishing what they can accomplish. It will happen within the timeframe their abilities will allow. There are ways to be constructive and help if you truly want to. If you have the ability to program, volunteer to help. Costs nothing but time. If you know how to get coins listed on exchanges, volunteer to help. If you know how to effectively market a project, volunteer to help. These would add value. If you don't have any of these skills, simply pissing and moaning on the forum does not help. In fact, it truly brings nothing to the table, except the fact that you want other people to work harder so you can earn the benefits, which brings us back to greed. We agree on one thing, at least! Here's your proof that you seemed to have missed from the last page, added another one for you since you're a casual observer. The volume continues to slow, down to 6.5 BTC. Volume now down to 5.7 and IOC lost 50% of it's USD value within the past month. At this rate, delisting looks imminent. Volume under 2 BTC... Wash trading can prop this coin up for only so long. Bittrex is going to be cleaning house, this coin will be delisted. Bumping this as a warning to new investors. Keep in mind over 75% of IOC in circulation belongs to less than 100 wallet addresses. The total market cap for IOC was less than $20,000 a few years ago, which means that it has centralized control, and is not a decentralized cryptocurrency. Warning for new investors. Volume on Bittrex is .06 QIEX.com IOC 24 hour volume 75,000 USDT and 300 ETH. (Qiex.com will be added to CMC soon) Come join our Telegram channel and chat about exchanges you seem to know about well. We have a full list of exchanges that want to list us for a certain price. Just a matter of choosing which one(s) are best for IOC. There are currently more exchanges being launched than coins.

The development team is currently working on offline signing of transactions. With this feature - requested by exchanges and integration partners - transactions can be signed without being connected to the internet and then broadcasted without exposing private keys. This enhances security.
The I/O Digital team is also preparing for the upcoming World Blockchain Forum in Miami Jan 16-19. We will have a booth and keynote main stage presentation introducing the unique group chat features of the IOC Blockchain and announcing project Chameleon.
Chameleon will be facilitating side chain technology, interoperability and smart contracts. IOC will be an integral part of the Chameleon project and ecosystem. Chameleon will introduce a new type of Ledger technology in order to facilitate a very high network throughput needed for mass adoption of transactional services. The Foundation is set to release a scientific white paper (proposal) for project Chameleon in January 2019.
The Foundation intends to incentivize current IOC holders when Chameleon is launched. For every IOC you hold during the t.b.d. snapshot moment, holders will get 2 CHAM for free. IOC stakers will also be an integral part of validating transactions on the CHAM ledger.
