oh, 3angle has a new project? oO I didn't know that. regarding TRI: i'm still here, still working on this, unfortunately less than I want to. i discovered a bug 3 or 4 days ago when doing some "last tests before uploading" which i was only able to resolve 30 mins ago because damn shellshock kept me busy the last 5 days. :/ i was tempted to tell some of our customers (@ work) that they should fuck off because i have more important stuff to do (-> TRI ) about a dozen times.. i almost did, at least to one of those panicking CTOs. that guy simply refused to understand (and i believe he still refuses) that his beloved Sharepoint-servers are not affected - simply because they run on Windows and therefore have no shell/bash. I wonder what his qualification is/was to get that job. that company has ~2500 employees ffs! anyways, its fucking late again (2:45 a.m.), i have to get up in ~4 hours. shellshock will keep me busy again (as if i haven't enough other stuff to do....) the whole working day so I won't be able to test my wallet fix until the evening. I will keep you posted! Good night everyone! ps: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=797398.msg9010580#msg9010580 edit: http://explorer.triangles.technology -> see the last 10 blocks > 33462. version 6, none of them being 0.00 reward blocks. proof of work in progress. and now: good night, for real.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Update: I am still alive. The last two weeks have been my personal wage slavery hell. As you might have realised by my lacking presence here I wasn't able to put as much effort into TRI as i wanted to. So much for the whining part. :| And here's the good part: I successfully built the latest daemon a few minutes ago and synced it to the blockchain (Block explorer). Windows GUI wallet compilation works too - but it sucks when compiled on Windows. :| I am gonna compile the GUI wallet with my crosscompiler (on ubuntu) tomorrow, the result will be a nice standalone wallet with no additonal dlls needed (much more stable than the wallet with dynamically linked dlls - way less dependent on the client system it runs on). We have a national holiday on friday so I will have way more spare time this weekend than I had the last days/weeks.. If all goes according to plan (basic tests after compilations succeed and i.e. not another shellshock or heartbleed incident ), you will all be able to test and work with the new wallet on Friday, maybe even tomorrow (I can't promise Thursday - workload is still high @ slavery - so I better say "friday".) Thank you @ everyone for your patience!

Word in-tha-blood, Wurstgelee took over for the original DEV who decided to launch a new coin instead of fix this one. The original client has TOR built in and only 50k minting so it's worth fixing IMO.

I understand your point and would probably think the same. The new client still has TOR built in. But it's now based on Qt5 (instead of Qt4 - see console output above). And it has a new feature (which can not be seen in the output posted above).

Hint: If you are considering buying some <50k CiC (fucking rare!) X13 PoS over TOR coin - now might be a good time. edit: Time for proof of steak now (Yeah! Meat!). Meanwhile diff is slowly rising to minimize forking risk when you whale-guys join the network with big stakes.

One of my wallets has a substantially lower amount of coins in it. I'll bring that one online first and let it run a while before bringing the other one online. to further minimize forking.

I posted earlier that Bittrex disabled their TRI trading...after I had made some transactions. Perhaps they are updating their wallet but I thought it was weird that it happened while I was in the middle of doing stuff and things. Anyhoo...didn't want FUD (I kind of dislike this generalized term but it does have meaning) to be perceived so I removed my comment voluntarily... If you have room for one more...kind of interested in what is happening here...

You can access trading by searching for tri in the bittrex homepage (not the page after login.)

Looks like someone took wurst's advice and ate 1.5% of the moneysupply cheap.
"I posted earlier that Bittrex disabled their TRI trading...after I had made some transactions."
Not sure exactly what you mean by transactions... did you buy tri or were you wanting to deposit/withdraw? I sporadically place buys and sells and haven't seen trading disabled ...

We had asked bittrex to disable the wallet until updates can be completed. so withdrawals and deposits to and from bittrex wont be enabled again until they we get them the updates. If you have TRI in a wallet outside of bittrex just wait until Wurstgelee uploads the latest update (maybe today sometime). ps - or if you dont have any tri outside of bittrex i could send you some once we get the wallet update and everything syncs ok. i feel like we could always use an extra wallet online.

I totally misunderstood the disabled issue - had a few drinks last night. I bought some Tri which caused the wallet to be visible and then I saw the disabled icon and assumed everything had halted without actually trying it.
Everything is cool and I'll just wait for the wallet upgrade; everything I have is on Trex...

The reason the coin-network don´t work in this coin from time to time is because people don´t stake coins and just sell out.
I don´t care what some of you pieces of shit say that the dev has ran away from this coin - I have not run away, I am right here - and I don´t care anymore. That is it. I don´t care, because the coin is not in my hands - it is in the hands of the ones who have fucked up this network time and time again.
Tired of being blamed for your mistakes.

It's done. I am currently resyncing the block explorer once again. Standalone windows wallet (without DLL dependencies) is compiling as I type. I will deliver blockchain bootstrap, the new wallet and sync instructions (although those are very simple) within the next 1-2 hours (after Dinner)
