I've just had an epiphany. There is a logical discrepancy. The American intelligence reported within hours that they have information that the plane was shot down by a SAM missile. Shouldn't they then have the location of the SAM site that performed the launch of said missile? Seeing as US is highly interested in choking the freedom movement in their new colony (yes, it's time everyone starts noticing the big pink elephant that is US in the room, that is Ukraine), if the freedom fighters were indeed the ones that launched that missile, the intelligence agency would have trumpeted it across the globe. What we see is sideways insinuations against Russia, all the while Kiev releasing fake videos, and today filming in Dniepropetrovsk a fake news report, as if it was filmed at the crash site. These actions speak quite loudly that it might have been a Kiev-controlled SAM doing the shooting, and US in their desperation to cover the tracks, are releasing only a half-truth on their intelligence service report. Alternatively the US intelligence might not have had any data to report, and were simply relaying information from Russian military, that said that SAM radio activity was spotted in Ukraine prior to shooting.

Before the probe into the crash of the Malaysian plane commenced, several countries jumped to make statements of the true causes of the tragedy without proof, said the official statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry. By doing this, these countries are compromising the course of the investigation, it added.

“The Russian side was the first to call for independent, open and objective investigation of the reasons of the accident… It should be made with the assistance of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and other international groups…” said the statement.

It's a serious lack of trust which is a real problem now. Rebels think that westerners, let alone Ukrainian government agents, might try to plant something into the wreckage. They would prefer Russian investigators to come instead. Which is of course impossible for several reasons, one of them being that Kiev doesn't trust Moscow. They are also afraid that Ukrainian army may fire artillery shells on international observers while they're at rebel controlled territory and then add that to their account too. And so on.

Regarding the Dutch PM: I am not sure what he was hoping for, it's a chaos over there. A fucking war zone where people are fighting and burying their dead on daily bases. You can't really expect happy shiny faces, warm welcome and friendly walk around with professional domestic rescue teams. Especially not if you're coming from country which has been only throwing shits on you long before this accident happened.

Looters Stole Cash, Credit Cards, and Jewelry from Flight MH17 Crash Victims

The crash site of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, which went down yesterday afternoon after being shot with a missile, is now being looted. This is not only causing issues for the investigation, but also for the families of the victims on board, who will now not be able to recover the lost property of the 298 dead passengers and crew.

After the crash, investigators were unable to get to the site quickly and rope it off to preserve evidence. This allowed armed separatists and locals to essentially raid the scene. Suitcases were removed from the wreckage and pillaged. The coldhearted looters stole a variety of personal possessions, but left behind some apparent undesirables: a Minnie Mouse lunchbox, a Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal, family photographs, and intact passports.

As for what they took, wallets and credit cards were a favorite. A photojournalist at the scene said, "There isn't a single cellphone, wallet with money or camera to be found in any handbag or on the bodies. It's like they all mysteriously disappeared overnight."

Those who understand the history, will see that the solution to the conflict was all along federalisation of Ukraine (which was asked for by the population of the region and brokered by Russia), something that was blatantly rejected by the Keivan coup government. So the bomb that was smouldering since 1917 was continuing to wait for a trigger to set it off. Such trigger became the Odessa massacre of the 2nd of May, when the Russian population of Novorossia saw what was also in store for them and had to defend themselves...

As an aside, the roots to Russian distrust to Poland, for example are in the 1600, from the time of Polish intervention, trying to install a false-Drimtrij as Russian Czar.

Methinks, you're confusing time epochs. When there were "the Slavs of the Kingdom of Kiev" (Kievan Rus'), there hadn't yet been the Grand Duchy of Moscow (the latter established in 1283). And vice versa, when there was the Grand Duchy of Moscow, there had no longer been Kievan Rus (the latter demolished in 1240 by Tatars)...
