A couple of the pools were sustaining continuous DDOS attacks throughout the night, but 2 of them remained up at the same time.

No coins have been stolen, I would avoid jumping to such conclusions if you have any sense.

Not the dev or the coin's fault, it was likely hackers/miners wanting more coins before the end (it only started well into the mining phase over 65% of the way through)

It is unreal that some people here think the pools are scamming when it is clearly just another day of pools getting ddosed because random people online can be dicks.

None of you were in the BTCDark thread screaming that the pools were scams when they got ddosed to hell.  Miners just moved their hashrate to somewhere else.  I just don't see why you all think that altpooler and coin-miners would purposely steal so they can ruin their rep and no one will ever use them again.

I could be wrong, sure.  But for the time being...chill out.

edit: and I received my payments from altpooler when their site caught up with all the blocks after being attacked.

Good god, the dev seems to be okay, the coin seems to be okay (yet to be seen whether the tech he describes will be delivered though...), but this coin has had such a messy launch and PoW stage.  Hopefully it can bounce back from all the drama.  New method of anonymity, and high PoS coins are always fun.

And stop screaming about altpooler.com, the pool is back up and paying.  coin-miners.info is the only wildcard.
