Yes, we are planning to launch faircoin 2, in few weeks, still if an external review is not contributing. So the peer review is going to happen at least inside our dev team. Final day of release, will be confirmed very soon

i have seen sometimes people get paid for code review on this board maybe you can put an annouce in the marketplace, another resource can be https://www.nccgroup.trust/ they have done a code review for zcash but i don't think they're cheap.

What would make it a good idea to take back coins years ago, maybe devs will do it again in a few years
Would not surprise me, shitty think to do in a crypto that is decentralized, guess not for faircoin.

FairCoins devs revived a dead coin priced 100 satoshi and gave back to the owners all the FairCoins stolen in the Mintpal scam, they also gave back all the coins of recovery block to the people who asked, Did you tried to ask them ?

We recovered unused coins, from unused wallets, to complete the send back to all the people who lost the coins in mintpal, as mintpal only bring back around 70% of the coins that was supposed to be... So this was not a casual decision. Otherwise right not the faircoop community is very strong and all the decisions are taken all together, not only by one or few devs like in most of the coins...

should not have to ask for coins back, if they where already in a wallet.
that would be like the government taking your money from your account because you did not use it for years.

the recover block was made through a fork and the community accepted it, you can't fork without consensus of all nodes, even bitcoin was rollbacked and forked https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Value_overflow_incident

FairCoin after the lauch went through a 51% attack and a dump, this was probably the origin of missing coins, so when FairCoop took over the FairCoin had to fix many problems left by the original dev team.

if you are here talking about this is because FairCoin isn't anymore a dead coin and now has some value, i'm sure that if you still can sign with those addresses you can get your coins back.

Where were you for last 2 Yrs.. you have no interest in  the coin but to just get them and sell them.. All the decisions were made by consensus and ALL COINS were returned. Even if faircoop knew all these people just came to get the coins and sell them at first chance even then they returned each and every coin and it was announced in the thread.

Just go to some other thread and troll there..

There is an important difference. This faircoins was given by free at the launch of faircoin. And thats why the unused ones (minting was enough for consider to be used), was used to recover in mintpal, coins that someone bought.
