Probably not a FAQ but I see a lot of "delete/delete" threads, so:

- how do I delete my own thread(s) when I no longer need them?
-> On the top right of your post is a delete button
-> there should probably a list of subboards where this is not possible. E.g. in Meta it wasnt for me.

- how to add a link to a word
-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=711013.0 has a good explanation IMHO
-> this isnt asked as much as how to add a picture, but might as well be added anyway. Not sure how "frequent" the FAQ questions have to be.

- here is a nice step by step (with pictures) how to sign text using bt-core, outdated version though

- 50/10 BTC for VIP/donator? thats outdated and should be updated.

Why newbies can't use link in signature?

Because there's restrictions. You can have one when you become a Jnr Member.

- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 50 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 150 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

I think it makes sense to move the second question immediately below the first one so we deal with the VIP stuff and move on to another things, instead of the current state where there are several questions in between and we revisit the VIP issue again for no good reason other than "this question was added at a later point" .

Good idea, I'll contact tysat once I feel the list is somewhat complete.

Nope, theymos said the price will never change.
If you are NOT aiming to get the tag, you could donate any amount you want.

There really isn't much need. What the rules (or the true meaning of them as imposed by rule 23) don't restrict, is allowed and the rules are quite lax when compared to other forums. That's free speech at it's best.
