Like the saying goes, "Never invest money you cannot afford to lose." If you need that money to eat, pay bills, or pay the mortgage, then don't put all your eggs in one basket. If you're single, don't have a family, are reasonably well off, then by all means go all in! Investing really is common sense. If you have disposable cash you were going to throw at something else, like a new set of golf clubs, a speed boat, fancy jewelry, or a new home entertainment center, sure by all means invest that into Bitcoin instead. If it pans out, great! If BTC tanks, hey you'll have to settle for cup o noodles instead of sushi for awhile.I I am. single my parents pay for every thing I need. I had some money from presents of my grandma. About 8k euros. All invested in btc almost. Now I have half of them at current price. I did not need those money to live but I thought it could be the bet of my life... when I invested there were people saying bitcoin could go to 10k dollars or more. I trusted, I tried I lost. From the looks of it, this money was really never yours to begin with. (nor is anything that you have truly yours but that is not the point). The money you "invested" in bitcoin was something that was given to you in exchange for nothing therefor you risked nothing. It was basically a lottery ticket. I did not work for that money, true, but that money had a value, I could have done many more things with it. Not a lottery ticket. With thousands euros I could travel around the world, buy things, et cetera. So any loss is a loss. Whenever money comes from, no difference. Yet when you worked for that money, maybe you feel. worse.

Answering the the original post, I'm not brave enough to invest all my savings in bitcoin but I admire who can do it.

Yet when you worked for that money, maybe you feel. worse. I would say the money had little/no value to you. As a result you were reckless with the money and "invested" it in something that has a very high chance of declining in value.

So any loss is a loss.
you trust this ... ? Check the inflation price (not the inflation gov. graph) and the rise of tax (IRS) ... Bitcoin is a solution to isolate the life economies from the "literaly lose of value".

So what do you think is a safe/good amount of your savings to invest in Bitcoin? 20, 30 over 50 percent?
I would've thought many who invest might allocate 1-5% of their funds for truly speculative/ volatile investments. I've gone for rather more than that myself. I find it very hard to get excited about much else out there. I was thinking of investing 20% of my current savings which isn't a awful lot but enough to benefit from it something does come on it and it is bearable if I do lose that money. No risk no gain, the price is now at $430, what do you think?

things are not so simple. I did not explain many things. I could not cash out because my account in that very period was blocked. I had to see price dumping without doing anything. I could cash out only in January and I did it. Then I bought again when I thought price would rise again. I was wrong. Actually I lost about half of my entire money, I mean my life savings. I am not complaining. I know it was risky. I had the feeling I could make big money fast and cash out. I was inexperienced and made an error. I am young. I had none giving my advice.

Or 1000$` If you are close to retirement don't put your million on it but if you are young why not make a bold bet

I will hold my 10 btc I have no other choice but btc deluded me... Everyone was saying it would rise and rise, but it was only a Ponzi bubble. That is all. A fucking Ponzi bubble. I knew that but I was convinced about those guys saying it was not a Ponzi and I could still buy.
