There will be more and more merchants that will be accepting bitcoins as payment, therefore the demand for bitcoins will increase and so are its value. This principle applies to real currencies and so it should also be for bitcoins.

If we all only accept bitcoins as payment, the new guys going into the market will have to buy bitcoins to avail/buy the services thus making the value stronger.

I found this Bitpay article and i quote there goal for there merchant adoption; “We have set a goal to enroll one million merchants by the end of 2016,” So in just 2 years from ~30k to a whopping 1 million  Shocked

Sorry Fallling; Bitcoin is here to stay, go cry more kid.

Nice new pricing model also from Bitpay!

Watch out, any moment now, falling comes telling that this creates sell pressure and we are heading to 450$ in 48 hours.

I guess it will be falling off the edge of the earth! But where is it going to fall then? Into space? Ah, the moon, I see!

The Op was posted at July 28, 2014, 03:01:34 AM, and said $550 in 24 hours.

That was 3 days ago, and it still hasn't hit $550. However, it's getting closer to $550 every day.

even a broken clock is right twice a day. so far, failing has not been right once. but he may finally get a moment of 'almost right about something except days off and for the wrong reason' glory. or well have a really good time to get coins and become the bag holders he's always blathering about. I'm down to hold a bag full of riches.

EDIT; oops, nope guess we just couldn't break the support at 560, sorry failing, maybe next time? Cheesy

The crash moment arrived a little bit late,
$575 wall has finally given up the helpless struggle, we will soon break $530 and test $51x and $49x

A big dump to $550 can be expected in 24 hours, this it is, the end ! Don't be the bag-holder!

sell as fast as you still have a chance!

Are there still people here who believe this is just "shaking out the weak hands" and that we're about to go to the moon?

Let's call it what it is. Bitcoin is failing. People are getting out. Moving on to other things.
The peak is over. This WAS the bubble you all were waiting for.

There isn't massive user adoption that will raise the price. Companies aren't standing in line to use Bitcoin. Wallstreet isn't dying to get in.
Everybody has been saying that to the point where everyone thought it was true Well it isn't. You've been lied to.

The price won't bounce back. Feel free to give me one valid reason why it should. You can't.

Smart money is getting out. Just like i just did. But i won't go away. I will keep on coming here to see how you fools will post charts every day to show how we are about to go to the moon while in the meantime the price goes down and down.
I will probably laugh as well.

Oh gee, I guess I gotta be fast to catch this falling knife! Oh wait, this thread is already weeks old and we haven't seen the drop our dear analyst here predicted! I guess I shouldn't listen to people on the Internet when doing investment or trading decisions!

I have not seen bitcoin hit $550 in the last 2 weeks. Was actually hoping it will as I have buy limit around that price.

And thats the lower price we will reach, people see very cheap the price at 550 or less so they will not allow to fall below that.

There's an interesting resistance at the 550$ level, I don't think that there will be so much selling pressure to break through that value.
Probably we won't see any sub 500$ price ever.

Remember, people have been saying this type of statement throughout 2014. Meanwhile, we've been in a nearly 8-month bear market. And I assure you that people were saying $400 can't break on the way to $340.
