Is there a way to solo mine on multiple rigs and target those rigs to a single wallet? Maybe a feature like that added to the wallet would be nice, but a novel idea.

there are at least 2 solutions for that:

1- mine with several wallets, but the same privkey (lokk previous posts, there are instructions for doing so)
2- open your wallet to the internet and point all your miners to it (not very good, please use SSL and strong password if you do that.)

What I like the most about this coin is that it can't be pool mined and that it's gotta very low coin supply as of right now with only 1.3 million in circulation.  This coin will easily be worth as much a DarkCoin in a couple months if not sooner Smiley

On the second solution sounds viable, maybe I could use SSH via putty. But solution one sounds the simplest out of the two.

It would be nice if the second solution could be implement securely into the wallet natively.

im mining on LAN, 4 rigs... on one MAINrig main wallet, in conf you add allow 192.168.1.*
then on other rigs in network you just enter IP and port of MAINrig with main wallet... u use same username and pw

rpcuser=xx
rpcpassword=xxxxxxx
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcport=41677
port=41678
gen=0
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1

i just used logic... but maybe im wrong and thats why im not getting any blocks in last 5-6hours? Smiley

edit: i just found block, after 6h Smiley
maybe next one will be faster

still have to figure out why other rigs wont connect to MAINrig... same hardware, all on static IP, same driver, same miner, same configuration... but says login not ok

May I post a suggestion here?

Since some DRK features are implemented, and some could be improved upon, the original concept for the Darkcoin masternodes (RC2/RC3 releases) involved a protocol-level enforcement of the masternode payments. The problem with these releases was that there was some kind of bug that triggered sporadic network forking by misbehaving nodes or mining clients. The consensus wasn't working as it should.

In a sense, Darkcoin tried to use a dual consensus for every block: One for the transactions / mining, and one for the masternode payout. This didn't work as planned (there were sporadic forks of the network) and DarkSend development was lagging - so a workaround system was created instead that was "safer" and relieved some of the price speculation (it was the period of the great pump - and all eyes were on DRK news and how something would succeed or fail).

In that payment system (an evolution of which, is the current system of MN payments) the pools decided whether to pay or not in a semi-voluntary scheme. If a pool wanted to cheat payment, they could. The strategy was to shame the pools that "cheated" and it worked to compliance levels of 80-90%. The added threat of "enforcement" where Evan would "flip the switch" to fork off the non-compliant pools was also added as an extra measure. However, in my view, this is not the ideal solution to the problem. Rather, it should be done like it initially was conceived so that misbehaving clients are simply forked by themselves out of the network. No centralization / enforcement switch, no need for asking pools to play nice etc etc.

Perhaps the dev wants to give it a look* and see if he can come up with a system that works and which is free of forking bugs. It could also be implemented by DRK if successful, and it would also give added credibility to SPR itself for improving something in a significant way. The good thing with SPR is that, unlike DRK which is more mature, it can risk multiple hard forks to try things out.

* Perhaps the RC2/RC3 bugged solutions of DRK where there was a voting system in place to decide the MN payments are not the ideal concept for this implementation and another idea can be used altogether.

SPR is a bit different from DRK in that there are no pools, only solo miners. I suppose some means must be found of making sure miners that find blocks pay the Masternodes according to whatever block split Mr Spread settles on. Hopefully having nothing but wallets and Masternodes will simplify the system and make it easier to build this in at the protocol level, thus avoiding the whole 'having to deal with cheating pools' situation.

Even with solo miners it can still play out with a "selfish miner" scenario where one hacks the client for 0% MN payout if he finds the next block. So, yes, it would be good to see it at the protocol level.

sorry guys  Grin

my deposits only halted, because gmail sent confirmation mail to spamfolder

Wink my coins are on my local wallet now

im kinda having problems of finding block...

5h:45min mining at aprox. 9-10mh/s and no new block, im i that unlucky

oh yea, is there console command to show how much mh/s im mining at total

You have 10/2490 MH/s of the network = 0.4%, so you won't find blocks very often due to low relative hashrate and variance.

I believe with 1440 blocks per day, you should get 5-6 blocks per day, or once every 4.1 hours on average. The variance will be horrible, so you could probably go a whole day or more without a block. If someone else knows better, please correct me.

I liked it about a week or so ago when ten 750ti's was getting me like 40 blocks a day.

But now I have gotten 1 in the last 6 hours.

It is getting harder to mine now. Which could be a good thing.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

It pleases me to no end to see you here making suggestions AlexGR.  Mr. Spread, AlexGR was in pretty early with DRK as well.  He is one of the Darkcoin investors whose insights I have always valued a great deal.  My suggestion would be to look into what he has to say because it is always well-thought.

When did 120K get lost? Was it the time when Mr. Spread accidentally lost all of his coins?

Hashrate has stayed about the same in the past 24 hours. It has gone up slightly but it looks like it is going down right now.
Hashrate increased by 600% in the last 4 days. Its becoming imposible for small miner to find a block.
Im guessing a private miner+aws rape is in progress.

Is no one tried to make pool

Are you serious?  One of the best features of this coin is that there are no pools.

I see no single reason for SPR pools with registration deposit (20 SPR for example)
