http://cryptobe.com/chain/CheckCoin

Seems like a nice coin so far.  Looking forward to the geo faucets Smiley.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but how can a coin which hasn't been launched yet have a block explorer?

I received the source in advance and built the block explorer on that.

Will i be able to creatie my own geo faucet? For example...im looking to collect money for a project in africa, we are going to help children there by getting them new school gear. Could use some help when we are there. Can i create a faucet and ask people to chip in? Wont other people be able to "steal" checkcoins that are donated for this?

Checkcoin is a project by BitSend - a company that specializes in payment processing solutions and bringing cryptocurrencies to the people. We are located in the center of the Netherlands. If you want, you can order a full review about the company and its owners at the Chamber of Commerce.

Can you guys maybe tell us something more about the functionality or applications of this Geo software/checkpoints? I've got some idea's but would understand not everybody can think of applications on their own. To each their own specialisation.

@the guy who wants the devs to post their photo ID: if anyone ever posts their photo ID publically, they're helping people ie. Nigerians to scam under their name, \0/. If you think it's a good idea to post your ID on the internet, indeed please do so yourselve before asking someone to do so. By the way, I love how you used this color and font size. LOVE IT! I'm also going to write whole messages in it. Thanks!  Wink NOT

By the way: scam is being avoided by letting a company take repsonsability for the project. If they scam people and those people complain to the government, they will be prosecuted and I know for a fact that in the Netherlands, fraud is almost equally punished as murder and at the very least, punished with fines that are worth multiple times more than this IPO. Risk/Reward doesn't add up for them to scam.

What is wrong with the people on this forum. What is wrong with a IPO? Software development would cost around 100,000 euro if not more. It seems there is no revenue model behind this project is there devs? Softwade is expensive wether u like it or not

Our geolocation software will allow you to do exactly that. You will be able to set up both public and private faucets. Other users can then donate checkcoins to help fill the faucet while you are there. Allowing you to raise funds for projects like the one you just mentioned.

For more examples, please check out the interactive map on www.checkcoin.cc

I like the idea a lot. The big questionmark for me is, how is it quaranteed that the technology which is built with the ipo-money will be used with Checkcoin only? Is there anything that would prevent say bitcoin being implemented to this very system? Also should the company BitSend be willing to sell their Geo Software patent out one day, is there any protection for bagholders of Checkcoin?

This is just thinking aloud. First and foremost props for BitSend guys for cool idea!

so I just called them personaly to see if I should invest in this. And honestly the guys were really open on the phone.

i asked them for what exactly they need the IPO and they said that due to so many software features the costs will be pretty high. There won't be a revenue model for the application and platform, it will all be free.
To keep developing for years, updates, PR, marketing, and what not, they need IPO funding to achieve it all

they were really nice and told me that i can come by to check out what its all about.

I've just purchased for 2.5 btc. Im pretty excited actually

Before I invest I need some things answered.

1. What is your relation to the Stealth Market for Stealth Coin?

2. What is your relation to Vliegles.nl?

Thanks

First of all, thanks for your feedback and questions and asking them here so others who might have the same questions, can read along or find the answer here.

The funds that will be received through the IPO will be used for the Checkcoin project. As the projected cost of the technology and patent is in the 100,000's it is fair to say there will not be much left after the project is completed. The sourcecode of the technology will not be open-source and it would therefore be highly unlikely that another coin would make use of this technology as developers of legitimate coins mostly act out of their own name now and will not want to risk a patent lawsuit. Even if the technology is copied by an anonymous developer it will have far less chance of succes due to the factors of timing (they're not the first to implement it) and the fact that legitimate companies will not go into business with them because of the patent on this technology.

About selling the patent one day, this hasn't even crossed our mind untill now. My first thought goes out to somehow compensating the people who have participated in the IPO as without them, it would have been increasingly more difficult to have realised the project. However, I would like to ask you to please allow us to discuss the matter internally and come back to you with an answer we fully support.

1.   The relation is one of our developers worked on this project with others but abandoned it to work for Bitsend and is actually the one who came up with the idea for Checkcoin. Bitsend therefore has no ties to Stealthmarket.

2.   One of our employees built the vliegles.nl website.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I looked at the topic and the OP is not being taken seriously but above that, states no evidence or reason why those coins would be scams. Just that he is awesome and has experience. I don't see credentials either.

I would say our project is one of the most trustworthy projects out there as we are required to operate within the law. Any sort of scam would result in major damage to our personal future. I see others on this topic stating mutliple examples of how dumb we would have to be to scam with this project. We say: Let them talk and cry later Smiley

What do you think about an escrowed IPO?
Some Exchanges like Bittrex and BTER already handled Presales.
BTER did the Presale for Crypti f.e.
