@DEv no offence to your project but someone is saying that it is a scam project.I personally like this project as I made a phone-call and talked. This is the first time I had talked with a coin Dev group. Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717209.0

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I looked at the topic and the OP is not being taken seriously but above that, states no evidence or reason why those coins would be scams. Just that he is awesome and has experience. I don't see credentials either.

I would say our project is one of the most trustworthy projects out there as we are required to operate within the law. Any sort of scam would result in major damage to our personal future. I see others on this topic stating mutliple examples of how dumb we would have to be to scam with this project. We say: Let them talk and cry later Smiley

What do you think about an escrowed IPO?
Some Exchanges like Bittrex and BTER already handled Presales.
BTER did the Presale for Crypti f.e.

I also think that it will be nice idea. You can also do this with  https://moolah.io/

Just wanted to say that I really like the idea behind this and will be following with great interest. Moving to the Netherlands quite soon as well, so maybe will be able to check in with you in the not too distant future.

If my calculations are correct.. around 2015 there will be 7 million coins mined. 4000 satoshi is actually pretty cheap.

Im wondering however, when will the coin be on themarket?

edit: o nvm this question is already answered.

If they are really good then why don't they use escrow services? What is the problem of using it as many people trust escrow services.

560 BTC for 14% of the emission, no escrow, collecting personal data, not revealing devs IDs. Good luck, guys.

ipo form says that collecting personal data is only for refund policy.

devs ID can be seen at the chamber of commerce. Bitsend is registered over there . what ut alkin about?

Why the hell do they need my ID to send me coins back to the same address in case of refund? I have no idea what is chamber of commerce. All important info should be reflected in OP.

We need personal details to assure we don't deal with refund fraud. It is very simple for someone to mail us and say that the deposit adress belongs to them while in fact its not.

If you start a business, you must register it in the Trade Register. At the Chamber of Commerce. Please see: www.kvk.nl

Furthermore i'd like to address that we are talking with Bittrex and BTER for an escrow solution. If this is something people would like to see then that's no problem.

I was having a wee little tif with the person developing this coin.. I was arguing against the name of distribution points being called "CheckPoints", let alone the  name of the coin being called "CheckCoin". I was suggesting something like "DistroPoint". Am I overreacting?

I love the name and absolutly love the concept. If the dev's actually spend their IPO on finishing this project it could be groundbraking. Real world faucets? HELL YEAH! We could help fund and donate to projects all over the world using this system. Let's hope no other coin will steal your idea.

From what I know.. I think they are going to develop the coin into a more commercialized sense.. e.g. hotels, restaurants etc... hence why he called it CheckCoin, and checkpoints, check meaning to check into a location.. apparently this means to check into a location get coins.. guess it'll make sense to you guys more than me.. seems a pretty vague sense of wording to me.

I get what your saying, i read the "about us" page on www.checkcoin.cc and bitsend.nl and it seems that bitsend spends most of the time convicing companies to accept nd use bitcoin. checkcoin does seem like the right name if that is one of the goals. for private use, i can live with checkcoin as long as they get the geo faucet system to work im happy.

the whole concept looks alot like foursquare and pinterest (place pins), if they manage to get a simular system up and running with crypto rewards that would be awesome.

Yea I think it's a good idea to use Bittrex as escrow. Bittrex is a very popular exchange these days and if they were to host the IPO you would be able to tap directly into their massive user base. Also using an exchange would make it easier for people to participate in the IPO.
