They probably decided to "win" all the bankroll and take that coins than to simply take all that coins. This way they can argue that was just a rly lucky player with rly weird timing. Wink

I'm 100% sure he's just abusing some bug he found, Devs just can't find it.

Then betting would be closed

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

One would think the logical thing to do is to stop betting.  As I said earlier, they claim to have fully vetted all code, while doing transfers and payouts, along with diagnosing the original problem, all within 12 hours.  I don't think that's possible.  At least, not possible to do it well.

Maybe they'll deny mateo's payout and declare him null and void.  But DB as a site is finished.  That's one certainty.  Wouldn't surprise me if mateo had a 'shocking' run of bad luck now.

DiceBitcoin knew that they have no reputation remaining whatsoever and no chance of bouncing back, and decided to sweep away all the invested funds in something that they can accuse of just being luck.

Dicebitco.in seems like a scam, so this site didn't last long I see..

What's up with the "cleansing" of their cold wallet?
https://blockchain.info/address/19tQNCrmaW6EADfJrtBaRixRkPyVrvb6yk

Looks like a "hit and run" to me.
Most of the cold wallet has been send to the hot wallet, because +- 6000BTC was divested and withdrawn.

I don't believe the story anymore. This is way too sketchy.

To be fair to the devs, they aren't "cleaning" the cold wallet, they actively removed their secured funds from the cold wallet to put into the hot wallet so people could withdraw their investments yesterday.

Cold storage amount is 1620BTC and hasn't changed in the 12 hours I've been watching it.  Yet, site investment went down by over 1000 during that time.  Something doesn't add up.

If you've been watching it for 12 hours then I'm guessing the devs could have been asleep/kept funds there to keep mateo from winning everything to return to investors who couldn't withdraw? It's only 8AM central time, not sure which coast theyre on.

As to people saying its the Devs taking the BTC now...why wouldn't they just have ran with the 3.2 million USD worth they had just yesterday morning instead of returning it?

It's much easier to claim an extremely lucky user came along and cleaned them out.  Adds an air of legitimacy.

Can't do that any more. No one can ever bet like this and win. Also, how does that player alternate between high/low?

Edit: looks like he's only doing high at the moment.

Plus, they can hope for further investments at people thinking 'invisible strings'.

He must have found some exploit that hes using with a third-party software to make these bets.

Is that what you did when the 4000 BTC you lost went missing?
