(with your site, i. e. , my small investment was too diluited)

It doesn't really matter what percentage of the bankroll you control.

All that matters is how often the bankroll gets "turned over".

If the bankroll is 5 BTC and 10 BTC is bet each day, you can expect to make 2% profit per day.
If the bankroll is 5000 BTC and 10k BTC is bet each day, you can still expect to make 2% profit per day.

In those two cases, your 3 BTC investment is going to have hugely different levels of "dilution", but it doesn't make any difference to your expected profit.

In other words there's not much point being 50% of the bankroll if nobody bets on that site.
If the bankroll is too large then it will not turn over quickly enough. This can be solved by limiting the amount investors can put into the bankroll when betting is slow compared to the total bankroll

I think you kind of have it backwards.

If the bankroll doesn't turn over fast enough for some investors, they will stop investing. Those who stay invested are obviously happy with the situation, and so the site will end up with just the investors who are happy with the return they are getting.

Why limit the size of the bankroll artificially when the investors will limit it themselves by pulling out when it gets too big?

Someone posted an image and a facebook profile of the person thought to be him. Unless, you do some private research and go after him, yes it is to be assumed. Sorry about your loss.

That is bad. Did you try calling out their support or emailing them? 12 BTC is pretty big.

Yup, emailed a couple of times but haven't heard back.

You'd have thought I would have learnt my lesson now, but nope... I've now lost coins at EveryDice, Reddking, Mintpal, DiceBitco.in and probably others. Sigh.

Sorry for your loss. I think investing in gambling sites is the last thing I would do.

Was your 12 BTC part of the bankroll (if so then you probably lost it when mateo was robbing the bankroll via his winning streak)? I was under the impression that they forced everyone to withdraw their coins via sending all account balances to the "emergency" withdrawal addresses.

Isn't that dev located in Canada? He ran a few other gambling websites. I heard he shut them down legally due to tax issues with BTC and not fraud?

Thank you guys, I've probably lost in total 70% of my total BTC to sites like this... makes me feel a bit sick just thinking about it, and how stupid I've been by not learning my lesson Smiley The EveryDice owner at least was a good guy and kept in regular communication with me, and I did get my remaining invested amount back (even though it was a small fraction of my total investment after 1DiCe hit them) - I haven't given up hope on these sites either, though I'm not getting any communication from any of them.

I had invested 22 BTC total deluxeCITY - I lost around 10 BTC to mateo but the remaining amount is still invested and it won't let me divest.

They sent a 169 BTC withdrawl by a user to another address, and changed the address given by him on the server. Even, if you manage to withdraw they will probably do the same.

Thanks redsn0w... yes, I have, but haven't heard back unfortunately.

finnile, do you mean they fabricated the entire thing to make it look like they paid out 169 BTC, but actually just transferred it to their own address?!
