Wow I can't believe value has dipped below 500 sat  Shocked  All this because the team didn't release the whitepaper  Huh
I guess it's the Domino effect where a few non-believers selling lead to panic-dumping en masse. That's sad, a lot of people have probably sold at a loss just by following the trend.
The fact is that the dev team is as legit as it gets these days. They're not gonna scam and run away, investors just need to hold their ground.
Anyway, it's a good time for me to pick up some more coins  Grin

Long-term Boom supporters will be very pleased. Just give us the time needed to develop. Thank you  Smiley

Take all the time you need, I believe in this coin  Wink

I cant believe POD is a new way of scamming people. Boom coin show us having a POD is as good as not having POD. POD is use to create hype

Not really.  If it had created hype, the coin would have been pumped.....which it didn't.

Issue with wallet syncing. Downloaded new stealth wallet, waiting for blocks to sync. Syncs a couple blocks, and then just hangs. Every time I close and reopen the wallet, it syncs a little bit more before hanging once again.

Is this just because I'm behind on a lot of blocks and the interface looks like it's freezing while updating, or is there something wrong on my end?

Wallet is syncing fine. I have 15 connections. Just give it a few minutes to sync and download the blocks.  Smiley

The POD is a trust authenticity rating. It is proof that we are developing and are a real company. We received the highest rating they have ever given. We are still waiting on Coinssource.com process to be completed.

Keep in mind that crypto-tokens are subject to extreme market volatility and extreme caution should be taken when trading as there is no warranties of value appreciation.

That being said, We are working hard to deliver some amazing new ways to make Boomcoin unique and have real world applications. Follow us and watch our progress. We are here & developing.  Smiley

I speculate that a few large holders 10% or more dumped. This may turn out to be a good thing because those tokens are now more widely distributed.

It's promising to see the dev still here.

Think about this.....how many times have you seen a coin tank, then the dev disappears?

Exactly. ...just about every one.  Seeing the dev is a good sign and I have no doubt they are working on something.  Those that stayed will probably be rewarded.  Those that sold at a loss....will be buying back higher in a few weeks Wink

Indeed it would be very good for BOOM if some large holders have dumped. They would be merely breaking down their big stashes and getting the coins into a lot more hands. It's better to have 1000 people holding 1000 coins each than to have 10 people holding 100k each. The wider the distribution, the more stable a coin is.
I'll keep on buying whenever I can Smiley

Idk why people are dumping a coin with 5star pod and an active dev while so many are willing to pump and dump shitcoins and scamcoins with the dev gone within 5days of launch...

Hello,

how can I see, if my wallet is update? In my actual wallet there is the possibility to send and receive encrypted messages.
Is it updated or is it the old version?

Thx.

Miners: My honest opinion is that the vast majority of miners in this industry mine the newest/latest coin, ride the short-term news, sell and move on. This is exactly why Satoshi Nakamoto believed that having a long-term mining period was essential as the vast majority of miners would require financial gain in order for Bitcoin to take root. (We have a companion mining option coming down the road that will give miners a reason to stay involved.)

Day traders: From the traders perspective they tend to have short-term targets. They push for news so they can ride the news pump only to sell right before or after the release. We have also seen throughout the years that this is true not only for new releases but also for feature implementations. This may not be applicable for all traders but any crypto chart can validate this point. Most traders never hold a crypto-currency for a long period of time in fear that the trend to change against there favor. 80% of altcoins are short-term. ( In the coming months we will have weekly news releases that will keep daytraders involved.)

Long-term investors: Our focus resides here. It is the long-term investor that picks a crypto for what they see it being worth in a year.  They seek out an undervalued token that has the potential for real world value & application. To use Bitcoin for an example, They are the ones who purchased Bitcoins for $75 with targets to sell at 1,200 or even 5,000 despite the volatility. This action causes the value of Bitcoin to appreciate. The truth is that most long-term investors have been damaged by the altcoin seen with all the recent scams including myself. It is for this reason that I believe many investors are on the sidelines watching and patiently waiting to see what we have in the works. When our work is completed and released to the public seasoned investors will see the potential long-term value and Cleverhash will be a preferred choice for diversification. What we are doing has never been seen or done before.

In the QT click on receive coins tab then click new addresses. Do you see a stealth option? If so, then you have the correct wallet.  Smiley

I'm not going anywhere! You are acting independent of price, this to me is priceless and worth my investment. I'm happy to hold for a year and trust in your commitment. Keep it up!

I'm pretty sure the initial few people who dumped were because of the fear of downtrend of BTC and the stagnating price of Boom then a chain reaction happened which I suppose is happening to all altcoins....but honestly, when btc finally goes up again-which it will given so many big new players like amazon and eBay- Boom will boom.
