I hope that they only have a lot of tickets and will eventually answer.. I sent LTC and Shapeshift coulnd't complete the tx with 3rd party.. So in their FAQ it says to contact them for a refund..
I'm still waiting.. no answer yet..

However, it appears there are many issues due to transactions not going through within the allotted time frame they use. I would personally stay away for now until we can get some answers. There are a lot of folks having issues with them right now.

However, it appears there are many issues due to transactions not going through within the allotted time frame they use. I would personally stay away for now until we can get some answers. There are a lot of folks having issues with them right now. It seems that small transactions are ok but larger ones get stuck frequently leaving the sender/receiver in limbo. It seems to take too long for ShapeShift to resolve tickets. Why the need for tickets? Well they are opened because transactions were not completed.

i got scammed with this trading site. its been more than a week now. I can not understand whether this is a reliable resource or not? There are a lot of positive feedbacks and negative ones - so you can work with him or not?

I got extremely bad first experience with Shapeshift. "Automatic" exchange failed, i have opened ticket 128058. Two days passed and no any reply. All my plans are wasted. If Shapeshift want to continue to work in cryptocurrency they have to resolve issues much faster. Courses are changed every hour (minute), slow support is totally unacceptable.

Yes slow support is totally unacceptable. ShapeShift does turn over hundreds of millions of dollars worth of crypto per annum so surely they can afford to provide a better standard of customer services. Even though they make a small percentage of profit per transaction, it adds up to be plenty.
