Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I dont like any platform of trading or exchange that does not ask for email address, what will happen when i forgot my pass word As stated there is no account and because there is no account there is no "logging in" and thus there is no password. One cannot forget something there is not. |

Really, this site is one of the best exchangers I have seen. In just 10 seconds I had my ltc withdrawal made into my wallet after I sent the btcs.
I will use it again when I need some more LTCs.

UPDATE: ShapeShift now offers "Fixed Amount" transactions. This lets you specify the exact amount of the currency you want to receive. This is useful if you want to pay a Bitcoin invoice using Litecoin, for example.  Just click the "Need Specific Amount" text link in the Output Currency box, and enter how much you want to receive.
