I think the Stellar website is better than Ripple Lab's.

That's about it though.

User interface sugar is very important, but I don't believe Ripple are that far behind. That's because they're working on the important stuff (talking to the banks, liasing with government, helping to work out the legal stuff, marketing the brand to ordinary consumers, etc.)

Ripple have way more employees and their codebase is far more active than Stellar's.
