That is how many people went through the process to get their free stellars and are waiting to receive them. I am one of those people. You don't get them instantly now. You go into a queue.

I was lucky enough to sell around 30K for 0.04/5K. As the price dropped I got way more people to send it to me and still made a ton. It's good if you sold yours, Stellar is just going to go down.

Seems some confusion on meaning of "one time" vs "queue". I think they are doing batches but not necessarily sending everyone currently on the list as one batch.

I have never even been able to understand what the point of Ripple is, now there's another one? I don't get it. I can already send bitcoin to anyone I want by using a bitcoin client and I can buy bitcoin and trade and exchange bitcoin with other services on the internet. What exactly makes Ripple and Stellar special? What benefit is there to using it vs not using it?

and there are services like onename.io that simplify the bitcoin address down so anyone can use it.
