It depends what purpose you want to store. If it is for some kind of business i think hardware wallet is more secure than paper wallet. Hardware wallets are a major step to enhanced security and usability. But you must take care that the system is free of malware, viruses, keyloggers, remote access tools, and other tools that may be used to make remote copies of your wallet, Bitcoin-related passwords or Bitcoin private keys.

Offline seperate wallets on a seperate computer with temporary internet access[not 24 hours]. If you have 100 btc then you can surely afford to hire a techie to clean up your systems Smiley

I have 2 step authentication enabled, so I wouldn't worry about financial theft.

And my private key is actually "private"

Really?  You don't trust yourself to secure more than 5 Bitcoins?
I guess you aren't very strong with computers?  Learn cold storage!
It's not that hard.

I use the CIYAM Safe as it uses QR codes for all comms (no USB and no *wires* ever connecting online and offline computers - just screens and cameras).

All private keys are encrypted with GPG with a key stretched (scrypt) password so you can use the QR codes to also make safe "backups".

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

I would split them into twenty USB pendrives and make some cold storage wallets, then I will bury the USB sticks into my garden.

Make mutiple wallets and store 5-10 btc max in each wallet. Enable login from a limited IP range only, with 2 step authentication..

You will never have to worry about  BTC again Smiley)

Banks have good security measure, you can store your USB key in their storage box, like twins did

Use an offine wallet, and access it when you are sure your pc is safe. Use a virtual on screen keyboard too. Keep your antivirus updated. Have a good firewall.
