My question to the community...do you think XCH needs a face or a group of faces to foster reputation? Similar to what is happening with Omni Foundation (Mastercoin) and Counterparty Foundation.

not yet, you need some industry users to actually be using this stuff that should start off with some bounties to incubate development i've said this before but the person holding our funds just sits around doing nothing with them... thanks man i really appreciate that....

btw "factom" looks like notarychains just missing the integration point into a p2p file storage sysem like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent_SyncAs of 26 August 2014, there have been more than 10 million user installs and more than 80 petabytes of data synced between users.[11]

I had a discussion on Polo trollbox with 'Ironicexpert' about eventtoken. A token for events. He claims the token (or devs) have a patent on the idea (token for events). I guess when I will organise an event in for example The Netherlands using token, I could use token made on top of XCH and don't have to use patented eventtoken. I am doubting that for the many possible applications, (all) ideas could be exclusively patented and therefore be claimed by a person or institution. I am not a lawyer so I don't know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGbD2jecR4Y

That's what I would think as well. This is the link concerning the patent https://i.imgur.com/5Wg1Fjd.jpg
