Only do hope she isn't gonna follow path like monero doing right now. That is only downhill since weeks
I'm quite happy with the XMR price, it took a huge pump recently and is just retracing a little - the price was about 100k when I first started mining it - shame I sold so much of it back then - you could mine 1-2per week on a couple of desktops.

You forget about the bots on bittrex.
Nice little pump again, I love it.
At the same time sell at 6600 and buy at 5900.

Being too greedy I missed this today  Angry Had my sell orders at 6700 and above. Will it be tomorrow a pump up to 6500?
Actually I hope for a good pump, until 10000 and back to 5800.
Need to clear the wall out of the way first - or have a large number of people (or large force) buying. Lets see =)

If there is 1000 coins in the purse, then how much will it yield (PoS) and for what period?

That's different. If you have one block of 1000 coins you can get something between 0.05 until 0.25,
dependent of the coin age. If you have smaller blocks this will be a percentage.

I mostly start staking with coins having a coin age of 4 days.
When all blocks have done staking, this takes around a day, I put staking OFF.
Then I wait 4 days before I start staking again.  (most blocks have around 4500 confirmations)
Every block of 1000 coins then gets around 0.20 XMG when it stakes.

Thats the way i like to see it. Stable raise in small waves with some downs and ups.

You can mine XMG with cpu.
When high hashrate joins in mining blockreward will drop
Check the OP (post 1) for more info

For the last week or so reward dropped significantly; I receive a few times less XMG than before with the same hashrate (pom.m-hash pool) and honestly don't understand what's actually happening.
I believe that reward stats is broken at least on that pool cuz I receive around 10 XMG per 2-3 days instead of promised 25/day. Minerclaim is even worse tho.

So what's broken now and why mining slowed down like that? Current profit is pretty dissapointing.

It's been written many times, read the forum, and you'll understand.

Such wow.
Well, fisrt of all, I don't see high network hashrate.
Then, I see 8-12 XMG reward per block same as month ago BUT now I receive a few times less than before with same per-block reward.
And then I see some fantastic expected reward numbers on pool stats page.
Definitely something is broken here.

So YES, I DO KNOW that block reward drops when network hashrate rises (breaking_news_slowpoke.jpg), BUT block reward is pretty nice now.

1. anonymous  22,880 KH/s 1,335,817 XMG/Day  0.07441837 BTC/Day

and here is my 323 KH/s 18.876 XMG/Day 0.00105158 BTC/Day )))) so as you see, that's why you do not have a lot of coins either.

Just my 10 xmg cents... But why keep mining at big pools where 10 xmg / a lot of miners means almost no revenue. 10 xmg diveded by smaller amounts of miners means more income.
But most people just mine at big pools because they find more blocks...

But do you have at least these 19 XMG/day? I have like 3-4 times less than pool stats promises, 5/day instead of 20.

This. Once I tried to mine ZEC on dwarfpool and it was kinda funny when pool didn't find any blocks for 10 or 12 hours.
Excuse me but people join pools to have some stable income instead of find-or-not-find-block long time solo lottery. That's why I avoid small pools.
No offence man, good luck with your pool.

These statistics are highly overstated and do not show real numbers. I have a real profit of 3-4 times lower than there is displayed.

Not offended at all. But come on, stable income with 300 kh/'s is not paying anything a month.
Then again one block of 13 diveded by few is same as 100 blocks of 14 diveded by thousands.

Well, that's exactly the problem I'm talking about. Before switching to 1.4.4.x wallet I had like 20-30 XMG/day with 250-300 kh/s.
Now... Well, same as you basically. $1/day really? Something went wrong here.

Also there was a short period (right on wallet switch or just after) when incomes grown 2-3x times bigger compared to "old good times". That was sweet.
