I know this coin is pretty knew, and I want to get invested, where can I buy the coin? I have $300, whats the best exchange with low fees.
Cryptopia works just fine for me I Dito this, works fine. I must say I buy (BTC / ETH / LTC) on coinbase, and transfer to crytopia, because I had the coinbase-account already.

hi, So for the 2 time, my solo miner got a reward, and it is not listed in my wallet. The address it says it is send to is not my wallet address 9KYLHkaabvSmH8fXyAHnK4B8vxPESRcRtn i dont know this address and i can't look it up at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/ I know the wallet works sins it have gotten a reward before and it shows fine in the wallet, just the last 2 rewards has gotten send to a different address/wallet? I have not sat a specific address in my conf file for the miner, so it should mine directly to my wallet right?

Hey, I watched a video on YT explaining that CPU mining is not worth it, I'll leave my 2 GTX 1060 in basement for mining, it's more trustworthy.

Guys, If anyone wants to have a little fun mining MagiCoin, i have a great little rig for you to try. Minimum of 3 hours, so about as cheap as can be. Try it, you might get lucky. Since i'm new to renting out, and just testing, i am only charging for a hashrate of 200kh/s. This is well below the pool user limits, but actually i'm finding my avg rate is more like 230kh/s. I've also set the price to 2% less than recommended, so grab a bargin whilst i'm feeling generous. J http://rig.rent/rigs/89027About $6.10/day. That sounds like an awesome deal - for you Here's a little reality check on your offer. During this past week, I've averaged 7.1XMG/day, this is with 1 MH of mining power. Let's be really generous and call your rig 250KH, it would have averaged 1.775XMD/day. 1XMG=$0.239093 X 1.775 = $0.424390075/day. Great deal. Let me offer a better deal to anyone interested. I will, because of my generous nature, happily sell a $1 bill to anyone who wants one for just $10 LOL I love your reply. Look guys, Its real simple I'm using my gaming rig in the "magi.trasmamod.com pool". It's doing ok, not great but ok, so i thought i'd try out MMR. If you're not interested then cool. The main reason i thought i'd try it, was cos there are already some links at the bottom of the pools page " https://poolinfo.systms.org/" and i though "hey" i'll try that. When you go thru the setup routine, you can select a fixed price per MH, or let MMR select 1 for you, which it changes to suit the market (way above my brain) You then get the option if u pick auto pricing, to go with it, or go a % under or over the recommended. I chose 2% under...some people are 10% - 20% over. I am not stating that i will be the cheapest, but for the few hours i am running this "fun test", i hope to be 1 of the cheapest per unit.... If that is of interest, great, if not, great too...choice is yours. Will it cost you more than you will earn.....more than likely several times more, but look at the MMR rates and use to WhatToMine or any of the comparison site, and you will see that using pretty much any mining rental service on pretty much any algo will cost u more than u can buy the coins for....and certainly more than u can mine them for with your own rig. However if you want more hash than you currently have, or simply dont want your pc fans screaming for mercy, then try mine, or any of the available rigs. Most importantly, have fun! If you're doing it for any other reason, you might want to seek out professional financial advice first. J

Ultra low trading volume: Not sure what's going on - seems like a lot of alt trading has dried up its trailing off on pretty much every coin I'm trading - my trading profits are way down. all the action seems to be on BTC/USD

I managed to get past my previous problem, and got my P2Pool running after many little issues, but I have another problem now lol.
P2Pool connects to magid and hands out shares correctly to my workers, but when I finally get a block it says it is generated in the P2Pool frontend, but doesn't appear in chainz.crptoid. magid is sending an error when the block is sent .. ------------------------------------------------------------------ received: block (1086 bytes) received block 0000000020f34f02992e CBlock(hash=0000000020f34f02992ec94030dc97d1c7279496ad20eaebfe5257e1e5ab3450, ver=2, hashPrevBlock=3917774245be0396f3d674219508b61e015031fd5fbb8dd769f63f64aabddfd7, hashMerkleRoot=09ae9fa96f86e37e3872da61b25aae70d3179a97dcfd99a739da92ca2a5f2698, nTime=1527403186, nBits=1d008eb7, nNonce=2818764751, vtx=1, vchBlockSig=) CTransaction(hash=9d0e3ae70c, nTime=1, ver=1, vin.size=0, vout.size=0, nLockTime=0) vMerkleTree: ERROR: CheckBlock() : first tx is not coinbase ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED Warning: Local node 127.0.0.1:54350 misbehaving (delta: 100)! nHeight: 1836086 nHeight: 1836086 nWeightTot: 8588 -----------------------------------------------------------------------
I checked on cryptoid and the block version is 6. On P2Pool transaction the block version is 4. I don't know if this is the issue, or something more complex. I'm running Ubuntu 16.4 and have tried P2Pool-master and P2Pool-feldenthorne and they both do the same thing. Oh and I have installed magi-hash also. Any ideas anyone ??

Hey, I watched a video on YT explaining that CPU mining is not worth it, I'll leave my 2 GTX 1060 in basement for mining, it's more trustworthy. How about my 6 RX470 mining for Magi? Is that still profitable at current? Would you mind giving me some tools for calculation? Thank.

I would say that your RX470 don't matter because magi is a CPU coin. Or there is already a GPU miner for magi?

But Bittrex have delisted coins before, that would really hurt for the holders! Tried mining but did not earn enough to be worth it, but i like the coin so hope it improves soon

You're confusing POS/POW for the built blocks...

You're confusing POS/POW for the built blocks... Can you please elaborate a bit more, the block I'm mining is just being rejected based on P2Pool not submitting the block in the correct format. (I think) The block should be accepted, but being wrong format, then whoever else gets it next does.
