now magi coin has some severe chain splits,so maybe you are the only one that is mining on your chain
I don't remember how this was fixed in the past. Any idea if it will be fixed? |

In the past it was fixed by syncing to only Joes node that was defined as the right chain. As Joe doesn't seem to care anymore we need a different solution this time. By digging a little into my logs the current problem is that the nodes ban each other constantly. I was able to get on the longest chain by adding banscore=10000
bantime=120 to my magi.conf, close the wallet, deleting peers.dat and restarting it. it doesn't prevent others banning you, but it prevents you from disconnecting from other nodes. |

Those are the instructions for who can't connect to the nodes with the wallet:
-first shutdown the wallet
-go to the magi folder and delete peers.dat
-then add those lines on the magi.conf:
addnode=82.65.215.193
addnode=51.89.116.25
addnode=146.59.3.53
addnode=51.89.116.26
addnode=163.172.122.60
bantime=60
banscore=10000
-Save the magi.conf and now it should connect

Added them nodes and still unable to sync. I am 4590 blocks behind. 7 days it says. Any Idea? That is my conf file below.

Finally loaded through. Not sure what happened but after a couple hours of leaving it open, it finished. Old waller pc I had left on for a couple days and no change. Weird.

Good job. Would still be good if the display with the Price BTC/USD etc. would work again. CMC API is no longer working. Possibly switch to Coinpaprika API. Implementing IDB would also be good. |

Can I ask what miners are you using? I am using cpuminer-opt and on older machines the good old m-minerd, just interested to see if I can squeeze a bit more  BTW it's almost 10ct today!!! |
