CanaryInTheMine,
Lining up PSU etc. and I noticed that in the unit that Dogie does the guide on a separate barrel type power connector like used on some lcd screens is needed for the controller card. Is that the case for this one. Trying to have everything in place for before ships, thanks.
Here's the response from ASICMiner:

"its 12V 1A,     2.1mm  (actually 2.5mm is also available ,its compatible)"

I believe that is the standard barrel size for most connectors. Thanks for pointing this out. Need to go dig one up.

No. it's one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Power-Adapter-Supply-1000ma-Quality/dp/B005JRGOCM

the chips are powered by a psu, but the controller in powered by above.

Yes.  You could get an adapter from 6 pin pcie to barrel or from molex to barrel. Buyahash store sells them and you can always make your own and run from the same PSU powering the Tube.
You may also have an adapter from a switch/router etc... As long as it's 12 v out, minimum 1amp.

Nope, you're good.  My order to fc went in by 16th.

I have an internal tracking number that will get out order to Hong Kong, then it's picked up by DHL.
So I expect these in a few days after DHL number is provided.

On the label do you think a large USPS Flat Rate box (square type) will work or should I wait till you have had a chance to put eyes on it? Thanks.

he is letting us wait on the labels.  it may not get into a large .  may need other packing.  if you are close to him  it fits in a usps  region c box but that is expensive unless you are close.   he is in Illinois I am in NJ and a regional c is 33 dollars. IIRC

I am hoping he can fit it in a smaller box.  may fit into 2 regional b's

Thanks, I am in TN so a regional box might be the way to go. Just one miner but thinking of adding another tomorrow if he is still accepting.

How many extra units do you have coming & available left to buy for the GB?

Also, i hate to be the one to ask, but what's in it for you with this group buy? You don't seem to be marking them up any, are you just trying to get around the MOQ for an order from them?  This forum has turned me into a cynic. Sad

You have barely been around a month.  This place CAN be a cesspool if you don't filter out the right people and avoid scams.  I learned that the hard way.  Yes,  I got taken for ~$2,400 so make sure to stick with well known sellers such as Canary and avoid to good to be true deals because they are truly not true.

Speaking of trusted sellers...do you have any extra units, Canary, or will you be placing another order?  I sat on the fence to long.

canary in the mine has sold close to 1 million usd in gear on this site. I purchased thousands of dollars in gear from him.

he is pretty honest guy.  and he sells to make some money.  so most likely he has done a markup which is how a reseller does business.
