Canary can you confirm my payment from yesterday 2e29590e184efc179b08c22d8c10a68da980727b20570293901b3c598e088bf1

Also do you have an idea of final box size so I can print an international shipping label? They're bound to be a bit pickier about dimensions than domestic.

It's in the ledger: https://blockchain.info/tx/2e29590e184efc179b08c22d8c10a68da980727b20570293901b3c598e088bf1

so you should be all set.

As for the box size, I'm hoping medium box 2, Inside dimensions are 13 5/8" x 11 7/8" x 3 3/8"

Based on the assembled pictures, it is barely larger than 120mm (the fan size) in width/height. 120mm is 4.72in, lets say 5in. You could fit heatsinks/boards across. The question is when 2 are stacked will in be to tall. I'd wait until canary fiddles with it.
many things depend on packaging. for example, today I got the BE Ethernet controller with a few RockMiner T1 units.  the controller is in it's own foam packaging, thus increasing total volume it takes up in the box.  I suspect the rest of the components are going to have individual packaging too. so when all put together, medium might be dangerous.

I've had some conversations with Phasebird and he gave me a list of dimensions of components but the number of items on that list exceeds the number of items per friedcat's post.  so it's possible some components are packaged as two items etc... it was a list in Chinese, which he translated but it wasn't clear... I've not been able to get more info from ASICMiner on volume of 1 unit subsequently, so to give you a precise answer is not yet possible.

I did contact another forum member who has already received some units from fc.  His/her opinion is that 1 unit will be fine in a large box.  it may be unwise to squeeze everything into a medium box, per their opinion.  Once I have them, I'll know for sure but it could very well end up being a large box.

For multiple units, maybe region C would work, but there's a weight limit on C also... (exceeding that limit renders Priority shipping useless).

Hmmm.  FedEx?  Might be one large box per unit?  I guess we'll find out.

FedEx doesn't care what box you use...  they adjust the charge based on measured weight and bill your account.  I can slap a fedex label on USPS box and they'll take it Smiley

Thanks, I am good with waiting till you have them in hand. Once you get them I personally will go with what you suggest as I am sure you don't want to spend time chasing down 3 or 4 different type of shipping boxes from different shippers.

Maybe a silly question, but do you have extra fans coming that you'd be willing to sell along with the kits, assuming one would need the extra cooling for OC'ing?  Tried looking for the Nidec fans myself, and the rate isn't as reasonable as FC's BTC0.014.

Ok, per DHL, shipment is due to arrive this Friday.
Unfortunately, like many who've just ordered Tubes, I too experienced serious delays with fc shipping this time.
They should have arrived yesterday based on my prior experience with friedcat.
I'm crossing my fingers that shipment has all units ordered.

As per the OP update on 8/18 it states there are still plenty available.  Does this mean I can still order 4 from you?

If so, any recommendation on flat rate box(es) to ship 4 units?

We apologize for this groupbuy's delivery time.

It's caused by a combination of three factors:

1. A one-day delay from the miscommunication from the sales department
to the logistics company.
2. The time of shipping from the logistics company to Hong Kong DHL.
3. The unexpected overfilling of DHL between 19th to 21st. This also
affected two other customers by 1-2 days.

To prevent it from happening again for this groupbuy as well as
overseas customers, we will fix the shipping process and choose more
direct shipping methods on demand.

Any chance of a coupon for future orders? 2-3 day delay is 0.04 -  0.06 btc lost.

of the 10 tracking numbers I have from fc and co., 1 is arriving Friday.  the other 9 are arriving Monday per DHL (just got off the phone with DHL).  I don't know how big of a truck they're gonna need on Monday, but that's another story.  The 9 tracking numbers are likely to arrive to Cincinnati Saturday and will rest there over the weekend which sucks.

It's not very clear what's in Friday's shipment (per friedcat, DHL center appears to have mixed things up).  It's either some amount of parts to make complete tubes or not.
If there are enough components to ship out any Tubes to you on Friday, they will got out.
At any rate, these will all head out to you ASAP.

Disappointing.  But unlike others in the space, it's a rarity for FC.
