The good news:
It looks like 1 Tube will require 2 boxes:
- 1 Medium that will hold PCBs, wires, thermal pads and remaining assembly hardware - 1 Large box to ship the Tube Cage Kit.
So you will need to send me 2 labels for a tube. A large and a medium. If you'd be so kind and generate both, then use the print labels without receipt option:
How much does the shipment weigh? I'm curious if the 2 box strategy is the cheapest. don't know complete weight yet, since all components are not here yet. the Cage Kit is heavy. vs. which strategy?

Looks like about 8 of the first 20-odd are headed my way. The first in line (third of the order) is mine, I wouldn't mind if it shipped before the rest since that'll give me a buffer time to figure out assembly on the other 30 that will end up here from various hosting customers. I have better luck with FedEx labels than USPS, what kind of single box do you have to pack a single Tube in?

I think you can do a single shipment consisting of multiple labels using fedex. cost is same as far as I remember. they care about weight than # of boxes, if my memory serves me right...

Canary I ordered four and will do FedEx if that's OK. How many labels, what kind of boxes(so I can give dimensions) and can you give rough estimates on weight? I don't need exact just approximate. They can re-weigh if they want. Obviously the fewer boxes the better.

Alright, so weight and dimensions on whatever boxes you'll be using for a single Tube? Or was it already posted and I overlooked?

Curious is fedex might be cheaper. $30 is getting up there. Fedex ground (i know its slow) is about $16 for ~20 lbs.

How much does the shipment weigh? I'm curious if the 2 box strategy is the cheapest. as am I . a regional c is 33 to howell nj 07731 If I want 2 and 2 fit in a regional c then that beats 3 large to ship 2. If anyone is really close to him a regional c is 19.89 for 24 pounds from 60181 zip to Cincinnati 45201 19.89 for 24 pounds from 60181 zip to Cleveland 44101 zip 23.82 for 24 pounds from 60181 zip to pittsburgh 15201 zip I do not know if he has any regional c boxes on hand. but I would be pretty sure 1 machine fits into it 1 c box is 1993 cubic inches 1 med and 1 large is 1306 cubic inches so one should fit in a 'c' in my case I am in NJ it is 33 bucks for 1 c vs 27 for 2 a med and a large I think for the extra 6 bucks I may pay for a c box for one miner so no separation occurs .

okay c weight limit is 25 lbs. 1 set weighs more the 25? I know 2 sets most likely weigh more then 25. I will check fedex and ups as I wanted miner to be in one box vs 2 boxes due to separation anxiety . do you do ups? or just fedex and post office

Shipment received... Just finished going through it all twice... I have the following items on hand: 24 - BE Ethernet controllers 40 - PCBs (40/4= for 10 Tubes) 12 - Tube Cage kits. 12 boxes, in each box the contents are: 4 heatsinks, 1 fan, 2 brackets and fan grill <- there are no screws or washer etc... in this kit. Of the 12 Tube Cage Kits, 3 are missing one of the brackets. the one that attaches with the fan. I am expecting a few extra parts for all, so hopefully those missing 3 aren't an issue. There is no hardware to assemble them with (screws, washers) and there are no cables to daisy chain PCBs with and connect to controller. There are no thermal pads in this shipment. The good news: It looks like 1 Tube will require 2 boxes: - 1 Medium that will hold PCBs, wires, thermal pads and remaining assembly hardware - 1 Large box to ship the Tube Cage Kit. So you will need to send me 2 labels for a tube. A large and a medium. If you'd be so kind and generate both, then use the print labels without receipt option: also, please sign both tracking numbers with any of your sending addresses that are listed in your transactionYep, as predicted. Asciminer strikes again.

What are the weight/dimensions for 2 tube kits in one box. If I want to use FedEx? If I choose USPS, do I send 2 large and 2 medium for 2 kits? Looks like someone here is
using three large flat rate boxes for two tubes. Is this also acceptable?
Thanks!
