MMpool.org. Did it used to be called Bitparking?

do not know but ghash went down so i joined it today.

i just wish the controller had two lines and allowed auto switching

Why would you join ghash because it went down?
I wish I had known about the controller issue before I purchased.
Ghash.io sucks and we're forced there.  Come on friedcat!! Fix the controller!

Sorry I'm off topic.  Needed to rant ;(
I think he saying he joined mmpool because ghash went down

He probably meant ghash went down so he joined mmpool as an alternative.

yes  I was running well on ghash until ghash crashed my s-3 auto- switched to a backup.  The tube went dead so I joined www.mmpool.org  and  I thank you for mentioning it as a second option.  In fact I am sticking with them as you get a bonus if you find the block.

Now an update to the controller for 2 pools with auto-switching would make things very nice for me.  I found a location to mine that will charge me 6 cents a kwatt. I can only run 2 tubes but it will make them good with a 6 cent price.

I don't understand friedcat's thoughts on this.  He would sell more of them with a properly programmed controller. I may have went for 5 of them maybe 10 of them.
These would be an easy sell on ebay at 650 usd.   10 for 7.9 btc =  about 380 usd each.   I could sell 7 for 600 after fees and pay off the 10 leaving me 3 for free.

[/quote]  I know but I really have a good ebay rep pretty much perfect.  1300 feedback 100% and 11 years on the site.

I don't want to sell gear with a controller that is basically manual.  I saw the listings and I know how my good ebay rep helps sales for me.  If I listed these at 675 with "ebay's best buy-it-now price"  they would sell fast.  Then people would want to return them as soon as the pool crashes and they find out no switching.  I am also not sure if ghash had come back up if it would have started back again.

So I will baby sit these in house for a few months  then sell them on ebay with clear disclosure and a low price since diff will be high in oct-nov.  Or maybe a controller fix is issued 2 pools with auto switching.

I agree with you, I hope that FC releases some new firmware to address all the issues that have been posted, if they did this would be a nice little miner.

Hi Everyone-

I started a thread where we can consolidate information from the various ASICMiner Tube -related threads. the thread is here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=768500

I added what info I could in the time I had to spare. All contributions are welcome. I will monitor that thread and add info to the OP as it is posted.

thanks for info.

this gear really likes the second fan.  I ordered 2 of these from amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KESSI2A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I am 90% sure these will work.  they will move air much quieter. I should get them on thurs.
A pair of 140mm fans will fit. a pair of these may even be better

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835220056&cm_re=silverstone_140mm-_-35-220-056-_-Product

these have the same mounting holes as the stock fan but are oversized .

Anyword if these work? This machine in MUCH louder than expected/reported. Can't really have it in an area people will be...

Trying to find quiet high CPM fans. I'll probably add a 2nd as you did.

Kinda looks like the 140mm one might be good to also run air over the surface of the boards in addition to through the tube.

Is the price still 1.04 or has it dropped to reflect friedcats latest price drop?

Has anyone figured out how to get these things to work on pools other then ghash without setting up a proxy?

Did you get a chance to measure the actual at-the-wall wattage at a particular ambient room temperature yet?

Does each of the four blades require two PCIe power inputs?  The pictures seem to indicate that they are but I am not sure.

The air temp in is 25.4 °C and out is 43.2 °C, you will need the air flow of the fan to make it meaningful. there is some warm air feedback but i guess my ambient temp is around 25°C

I'm running the EVGA 1300 G2 PSU: just 1 PCIe power input per card, if you overclock with some secondary cooling you may need a second power input, it could be for a redundant backup.
I get 1120 +-10 Watts at the wall running 5 cards at 207Gh/s (1.25 tubes)
I get 1350 +-10 Watts at the wall running 6 cards at 207Gh/s (1.5 tubes)

the PSU AC input is 110V 15A so can overclock to the point where you pull 1650 Watts at the wall. (below 1400 Watts recommended per plug with standard wiring)

with the EVGA 1300 G2 you have to create a connection between these two before it powers on - It took me 6 hours to realize how to power on my system Angry
( do this at your own risk.)

Thank me in Bits 12MwnzxtprG2mHm3rKdgi7NmJKCypsMMQw
