Exaaaaactly! I'd send her some money to that address right now, but I somehow dont think she'd get it. 8D The overlap between "/r/gonewild reader" and "bitcoin user" has probably increased in size due to this thread, but is probably not large enough to make this lucrative. |

I think this is actually pretty genius. With one change: it shouldn't just say bitcoin, it should be a URL, like bitcoingonewild.com or something, so people can find the huge gallery/rating system. Make it clear that all images submitted are open-source/creative commons share-alike/freely distributable, and people will repost the good ones (and be unable to take out the URL and firstbits address) on their own sites. I'd send some bitcoins towards this... for the good of bitcoin, of course. |

I'm hoping the mere idea will cause her to PM for more information. There are lots of interesting things that can be done this way... such as print out a QR code with the bitcoin address AND her reddit username to help prevent 'shop forgeries. |

Under new management, it seems pretty stable to me recently. If you have an alternative that is just as trustworthy and easy for a new person to use, i'm listening. BTW, she just replied with "is this for real?"

I should change my example uses of firstbits. Good for remembering and saying your address over the phone, and writing them on your naked body to solicit donations.
Something to remember is that a typo means the coins are gone. Make sure it is very legible and no one could misinterpret it.
Someone should really make a wallet that has built in vanity firstbits generation for a nominal fee.
