Okay, thanks for sharing this information. I will take a deeper look into Fibre technology this weekend. I plan to invest some BTC in that coin. But first I need to gather some more information.

Hi, please accept my apologies if this post is in the wrong section.

Is there a FibreOS thread?  I'm trying to load the iso using Virtualbox, but keep receiving this error message:

FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! System halted.

Has anyone been able to run the iso using Virtualbox?  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

Welcome

Install instructions http://www.fibrecoin.com/news/fibreos-v1-0-officially-released/

Password inside OS is Fibreos

To run in VirtualBox you need to do this :

Just a friendly bump for Fibre and all other Supernet guys who might be running Nxt nodes  Grin

There was a critical bug fix in NRS v.1.4.17 but someone is exploiting it still as there are still those who haven't updated their nodes.

So please could you check all your nodes and tell your friends and colleagues on slack who might not check nxtforum to do the same. It is important to do so to keep them safe.

Thanks  Cheesy

Those chips are super cool looking.... I can see some Casascius-like Fibre coins in the future, with a little holographic alteration that is Smiley

EDIT: Still no complaints from me regarding the cheap Fibre either!!

When will Fibre get masternodes? Any guess...

BDN is different concept based on latest Bitpay tech http://blog.bitpay.com/2015/03/05/bitcore-wallet.html and will be delivered soon https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737771.msg11138582#msg11138582

BDN will be network of many blockchains together with best services from crypto integrated like BIP32 HD trustless and decentralized wallets, services from Bitalize.com platform, SuperNET services and more.

There will be also reward system and requirements for FibreNodes revealed soon from which people are to get additional revenues.

Node owners will be able still to hold their coins in their wallets. Wallets will be verified by nodes if they fullfill min requirements.

Cheers
