I will be good if  really big companies also start accepting BTC.

No, more companies acceptance means people spending bitcoins (== selling them == selling pressure == exchange rate going down)

I think their observations are in general accurate.

Probably another round of problems in banking sector across the board will bring bitcoin to higher price levels. Maybe some October surprise...?

This means that bitcoin price will be driven by bubbles. So there will be cycles like in capitalism but these will occur more frequently and will create wealth instead of poverty.

Looks like ebay was looking to break the ties with Paypal since long and looking for an alternative. They have chosen bitcoin, that's a great news.
