Now that input.io is gone do you have any recommendations for a wallet to use for dust collection?

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Some faucets payout to peerbet.org.

If you let your balance build up above non-dust levels ( ~ 0.000055 BTC )
then you should be able to withdraw to any Bitcoin address without worry...
Most faucets these days don't let you withdraw until you build your balance
up to non-dust levels.

If you do use 'any' online wallet to store your faucet BTC remember to withdraw frequently.
It is good advise, imo, to not store any large amounts of BTC online no matter how well
you trust the operator...

And it is a good idea for anyone to learn about security ( good passwords; 2FA[two factor authentication; paper backups; etc. etc. )
no matter where they store their Bitcoin.

I think all the coinbox sites are run by the same person/organization so if one is down then usually they all are.
This has happened before and it has come back after not too long.  We will be watching it.

Thanks for the report.

Thanks Portnoy.

Yes I was only using inputs.io to collect the payments together and then send them on when there was enough to justify the TX fee, luckily I emptied out 0.04 last night. I would never leave much more than that anywhere I don't control the key.

At least the bunny run is still alive Cheesy
When all the faucets will be dry, we'll still be able to watch bunnies, even "for fun" Cheesy

Some of the inputs.io faucets are moving over to using coinbase instead.

I just want to let you guys know here that mmoclub.com/faucet and dailyfreebitcoin.com have replaced inputs.io with coinbase and will be implimenting btc addresses so they are back to being operational again for the time being.

If you had one of those faucets you should look into that option.

bitcoininformation has also been helping some of those operators set up a different type of faucet.

I am currently working for a Inputs.IO owner to get his faucet back online with my faucet code. I am doing good business  Roll Eyes

If you are one of those operators, and/or someone who is trying one or more of them out, please let us know how things are going.

free bitcoin at vnbitcoin.org

http://www.vnbitcoin.org/freebitcoin.php

Why is an email address required?
( Can anyone confirm this to be a legit site? I don't like submitting my address to any site. )

Is it a one time payout?

Thanks for the submission.

I get suspicious when they ask for my email address without a reason. You could try filling in a fake email address.

Grin Just got .001 BTC from them .   anyone else receiving BTC from them yet ?

I got mine too. No problems

For those using coinad and were concerned about not getting a payout... I got a payout today.
Carlos always pays out even though it may take a little while sometimes.

I got a payout from bitcoin4you.net as well recently. So they do still payout... even though it may take a while once one gets up to that quite high minimum payout value.

More than my list this is the communities list. I asked for feedback from the community. If it is positive it will be added.

My job isn't to promote these various sites which offer free Bitcoins. It is to help newbies get used to using Bitcoin by
gathering small amounts of BTC from these faucets in as safe a manner as possible.  Suspicious sites that ask for
email and other personal information get extra scrutiny and need some positive feedback from people who have
used the site. To have newbies go to unverified sites and possibly get scammed won't give them a good impression
of Bitcoin and will go against what this list is all about.

If your site doesn't get any good feedback it is not the fault of this list. I have said nothing bad about your site but
just said it *seems* suspicious to me, and merely asked the community what they think about it.

I use a spam email address for some of these sites and stuck it in at vnbitcoin.org. I got paid out 0.0001, and haven't had a dramatic increase in spam. It only lets you submit once though, so it's not really a faucet.
