Here's an idea. I make a server seed, show the SHA256. You reply with a client seed and whether you roll low, or roll high. (Or otherwise the 40% window).

According to Espringe, dmf of Dice.ninja loaned him 25 btc to fund the initial bankroll. So I'd guess that's the reason.

As for T04D, I barely exchanged a dozen words with him. Likely the only reason he called me a "pretty cool guy" is when the dice.ninja signature campaign didn't pay out (dmf told me he was sick) I was the one who behind the scenes paid it out so people would stop bitching (and FWIW never asked for or reclaimed that money)

I didn't know that you were never paid back for that.

I was holding 0.65 BTC in escrow to cover any missed signature campaign payments, and just an hour ago paid out for the 2nd period.

I have 0.33 BTC left over, and feel like I should use it to reimburse you.
